In Army of the Dead and the prequel Army of Thieves, Ludwig Dieter (played by Matthias Schweighöfer) is a German safecracker who acts nervous but has unmatched skills. Ludwig’s original name is Sebastian Schlencht-Wöhnert, but as a child he drew a comic book about a world-class safecracker named Ludwig Dieter, and eventually adopted the name for himself. In the Spanish Netflix series Money Heist (La casa de papel), a mysterious man going by the name of El Profesor plans the biggest heist in history. To ensure the smooth execution of his plan, he assembles a team of eight people. The plan is to break into the Royal Mint of Spain and steal 2.4 billion Euros. The robbers don Dali masks while forcing the hostages to wear the same disguises making it impossible for police to identify the actual robbers.
