Merman “Kenmaid” Ken is a character in the hit 2023 movie, Barbie, directed by Greta Gerwig. He appears as the Ken counterpart to Mermaid Barbie. He is portrayed by former wrestling star John Cena, currently best known for his role as Peacemaker.

Christopher Smith (played by John Cena), better known by his moniker Peacemaker, is a violent extremist who believes no amount of carnage is too much if it achieves peace. In The Suicide Squad movie, Peacemaker works with other members of Task Force X including Polka-Dot Man, Bloodsport, and Ratcatcher 2 to stop the giant extraterrestrial Starro the Conquerer. Peacemaker’s costume is reminiscent of classic super heroes, with a red, white and blue color palette and a silver mask.
