Ogai Mori from Bungo Stray Dogs
Mori (voiced in Japanese by Mitsuru Miyamoto and in English by Keith Silverstein) is a character from the anime/manga Bungo Stray Dogs.
He is the head of the Port Mafia and horrendously ruthless to all those under him and that oppose him. He has a concerning amount of doting affection towards Elise, the embodiment of his ability.
Mori has nearly shoulder length black hair, worn back in a low ponytail. He has unkind purple eyes. The outfit he usually wears when not in doctor-esque garb is a white button up shirt, a purple tie with a black vest and pants. He wears a black long coat over it with a long red loose scarf, and finishes the outfit off with a pair of white formal gloves, and knee high brownish boots.
Shadow Moth from Miraculous Ladybug
Gabriel Agreste (voiced by Keith Silverstein in English) is the main antagonist of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He has several different iterations, including Hawk Moth. His Shadow Moth version shares a similar purple color palette, with a few differences. To recreate this particular villainous look, you’ll need a purple tail coat. Though it may not be possible to find one with the particular peacock-inspired tails of the cartoon original, look for something with a wide collar and a long hem in the back to get as close as possible. Pair this with darker purple trousers and purple dress shoes as your base. For his mask, a silver hood can be used and improved with a little DIY; simply color the purple and black found around the right eye hole with some markers. Add gloves, a fan, and a cane with a dash of purple to complete the look.
Hisoka Morow from Hunter x Hunter
Hisoka may take his fashion inspiration from jesters but that doesn’t mean he’s here to play. He only spends his time on those strong enough to challenge him. Anything less is just beneath him.
It’s a little hard to pin down a specific look for Hisoka. He’s had more than a couple of looks that include changes in the way he layers his clothes as well as the coloring. But the cosplay written up here is completely Hisoka. Anything less would be a waste of time. And Hisoka wouldn’t stand for it!
There is a fair amount of DIY with this cosplay, at least in terms of painting and cutting. You’ll need to use yellow fabric paint around the arms of the crop top and decorate it with a heart a a diamond using purple fabric paint. Once that has dried you can cut the arms off the turtleneck so that it is completely hidden by the cuffs of the crop top. You’ll need to do some DIY with your wig as well and add in the purple sides using hair chalk.
With those done you just need white harem pants, gray leg wraps, and black boots. After that all you need is to paint on the heart a tear drop Hisoka has on his face and you’re ready to go!
