Donna Stankowski is a character from the new film Unfrosted, and is played by Melissa McCarthy. The film takes place in colorful 1963 and follows the story of two rival cereal companies, Kellogg’s and Post as they race to create a pastry, the pop-tart.

Donna’s wardrobe is such a fun and colorful one, matching the brand and style of the 60s. To dress like Donna, wear a yellow blouse with puffy long sleeves, a plaid or tweed vest, a blue and red scarf around the neck, red skirt, and blue vintage heels.

Michelle Mallon (played by Jamie-Lee O’Donnell) is a supporting character in the Netflix series Derry Girls. A student at Our Lady Immaculate, she is friends with Erin Quinn, Orla McCool, and Clare Devlin.  Michelle drinks often and has a brash personality.  She is not shy about her sexuality and typically unfazed by others’ opinions of her.  Michelle has dark curly hair she often wears pulled back away from her face.  Her school uniform consists of a plaid skirt, striped tie, and green blazer.  Outside of school, she wears a variety of outfits, though her signature silver hoops remain a staple.

Sheriff Jake is one of the main characters from the Pedro Almodovar short film Strange Way of Life, and is played by Ethan Hawke. This western film is in a way Almodovar’s own take on Brokeback Mountain, which he was originally meant to direct but wasn’t fully allowed to create it in his own way. This short is his answer to that. The film follows Silva who after twenty five years, rides across the desert to visit Sheriff Jake, but Jake believes he is there for an ulterior motive.

Jake wears a navy blazer, black cowboy hat, blue shirt, black western bow tie, sheriff badge, black pants, and black cowboy boots.

Saint Brigid (played by Dawn Bradfield) is the wish-granting fairy who transforms Maddie Kelly‘s life in the Netflix romcom Irish Wish.  The character is loosely based on one of the three national saints of Ireland.  In the film, Saint Brigid wears a green and maroon outfit with her hair wrapped in a silk scarf.  A green kurta will provide a similar silhouette and you can add details with maroon fabric paint.  Finish your look with a floral scarf and maroon flats.

Maestro is a film directed by Bradley Cooper who also stars as the protagonist, Leonard Bernstein. The film is a biopic of Leonard Bernstein’s life and rise to fame as a successful conductor. Carey Mulligan in the film plays Felicia Montealegre, an actress and wife of Bernstein. We get to see her life alongside him as they grow old and face different struggles.

Earlier in the film, when Felicia is younger at a party, we see her wear an elegant outfit that features a light blue dress paired with 3 strands of pearls. Later she wears a recognizable look of a tweed blazer and skirt with a pink bow blouse.

Eddie is a character from the Netflix series The Gentlemen, and is played by Theo James. The series follows Eddie who inherits his family’s estate, only to discover that it’s home to a drug empire.

Eddie wears clothing that is both classic and modern. To dress like Eddie, wear a checked gray coat with a navy blue sweater and a brown tweed three-piece suit with a denim shirt and orange and brown paisley printed tie.

Susie is a character from the Netflix series The Gentlemen, and is played by Kaya Scodelario. The series follows a man named Eddie who inherits his family’s estate, only to discover that it’s home to a drug empire. Susie is the woman behind the drug operation and leads Eddie into her world.

To dress like Susie in her bold, all-red velvet outfit, wear a red velvet blazer, red velvet shirt, a red waist belt, and red pants. Another look is a brown wool coat with a fur collar layered over a denim shirt with a navy sweater vest over that.
