Julie Bruin from Tiny Toon Adventures
Julie Bruin (based on and voiced by Julie Brown) is a character in the animated series Tiny Toons Adventures. She doesn’t have much screen time, but Julie appears cheerful and happy. Julie wears a sexy green dress, black gloves, black earrings, and black shoes. She has ginger hair with bangs and red lipstick. Since Julie is a bear, you can add an animal ear headband to complete the look.
Sylvester the Cat from Looney Tunes
Sylvester J. Pussycat, Sr. (originally voiced by Mel Blanc) is one of the Looney Tunes. A black and white cat, Sylvester has a lisp and uses the catchphrase, “Sufferin’ succotash,” often during his skirmishes with Tweety Bird. To recreate Sylvester’s look, you have a few choices. Replica costumes do exist which include a full-head mask designed to closely resemble the cartoon character. Pair this with white animal paw gloves and slippers to complete the look. Alternately, if full-face masks aren’t your thing, you could use a black and white onesie with the same gloves and slippers, and simply add a black and white cat tail and ears to your costume. As long as you take the time to memorize Sylvester’s signature phrase, there will be no doubt which cat you’re trying to emulate.
Lord Bravery from Freakazoid
In Freakazoid, Lord Bravery (real name Nigel Skunkthorpe) is a British superhero loosely based on comedian John Cleese. Looks can be deceiving — he resembles a Roman gladiator, but constantly gets browbeaten by his wife and mother-in-law. Despite his red cape and blue tights, Lord Bravery hates any comparisons to Superman.
Freakazoid
Freakazoid is the title character of the mid-90s Kids WB animated series of the same name and a co-production between the crews that created Kids WB’s two more successful series Batman (Bruce Timm and Paul Dini) and Animaniacs (Tom Reugger and Steven Spielberg). Though its run was short, it proved to be a cult classic that still endures to this day, thanks to its mix of absurd humor and references to pop culture and (then) current events.
The title character is a wacky superhero who is the alter-ego of teenage nerd Dexter Douglas. While surfing the internet, Dexter has an accident (partly thanks to the high-tech chip he gets for Christmas and his cat walking on the keyboard) and whenever he says “Freak Out!” he transforms into the blue-skinned hero.
Babs Bunny from Tiny Toon Adventures
Babs Bunny is a character in the Warner Bros animated series, Tiny Toon Adventures. She is a performer with a knack for improvisation and impressions. But sometimes her spot-on impressions annoy her friends, or gets her into trouble. Cheerful yet sassy, Babs loves the spotlight and comedic entertainment. She has a distinct feminine flair as indicated by her outfit and hairbows. Her best friend is Buster Bunny.
Lola Bunny
In Space Jam, Lola Bunny is a player on the basketball team Tune Squad and the sassy and beautiful girlfriend of Bugs Bunny. She helps battle the villainous Monstars as the second best player on the team, just behind His Airness, Michael Jordan, himself.
Hello Nurse
In Animaniacs, Hello Nurse is a buxom studio nurse who Yakko and Wakko constantly fawn over. Naturally they do their best to get injured so they can get her attention, exclaiming “hellooooooo, nurse” whenever she enters the room. It’s later revealed that not only is she beautiful but that she has a genius IQ of 192.
