Shinya Oda from Persona 5/Royal

Shinya (voiced in Japanese by Aki Kanada and in English by Barbara Goodson [P5/P5R]/Eden Riegel [P5A]) is a secondary character in the Persona 5 series.

He is a character you meet early on in the series once you unlock the arcade, as he spends most of his time there as an ace marksman in the Gun About arcade game. Once you spend more time with him he ends up becoming one of your Confidant pathways, with his arcana being that of ‘The Tower’.

Shinya has choppy cut black hair and dark grey eyes, and he wears a red ball cap with GET SMOKED on it in gold lettering. His upper layer is a white and light blue varsity jacket with gold detailing, a red circle with a white ’16’ inside of it, and ‘NOOBS’ across the chest in black and white lettering. His pants are a dark grey-blue pair of jeans that are rolled up to just below the knees, and he wears midtoned blue sneakers without visible socks. This is finished off with his green, white, and red school backpack.

Yuuki Mishima from Persona 5/Royal

Mishima (voiced in Japanese by Daisuke Sakaguchi and in English by Sean Chiplock) is a secondary main character in the Persona 5 set of media.

He was originally on the volleyball team at Shujin Academy, until being heavily abused by the coach, Kamoshida, which in turn lead him to want to thank the Phantom Thieves for freeing him from that torment. He created the Phansite in order for other people suffering to put in their requests to the Thieves and get help from them. His Confidant Arcana card is the Moon.

Mishima has short, spiky, dark blue-black hair, and (depending on the iteration) dark-tinted golden brown eyes. We usually see him wearing the Shujin Academy uniform, with a white turtleneck shirt with sleeves rolled up past his elbows, and two black chevrons on the collar. He wears the standard uniform pants, and has loose black suspenders at his hips, and it’s finished off with white gym shoes with a chunk of green as decoration on the side.

Ichiko Ohya from Persona 5/Royal

Ohya (voiced in Japanese by Yumi Uchiyama and in English by Amanada Winn-Lee) is a secondary character in the Persona 5 series.

She is a paparazza and is determined to be the first one on the scene when it comes to finding out information about the Phantom Thieves. You end up making a deal with her, and she becomes a part of your Confidants roster, with her assigned arcana card being that of ‘The Devil’.

Ohya has a short black bob cut, and light brown eyes. She wears red lipstick, and a pair of orange tinted sunglasses on top of her head, in addition to her camera around her neck. Her main outfit consists of a white long sleeved undershirt with a black t-shirt with the worlds ‘low life fight the power’ on it in bright pinks and blues, light blue jeans, and black converse-type shoes. She finishes this off with a light pink fannypack worn backwards around her waist through her belt loops, and a water bottle attached to a carrying harness.

Shiho Suzui from Persona 5/Royal

Shiho (voiced in Japanese by Akemi Satō and in English by Christine Marie Cabanos) is a secondary important character in the Persona 5 series of media.

She is Ann Takamaki’s best friend, and her fellow student at Shujin Academy, while also formerly on the volleyball team like Mishima. She bore a lot of the brunt of Kamoshida’s abuse, which lead to her being hospitalized from trying to escape.

Shiho has dark black-brown hair pulled back in a high ponytail and tied off with a pink hairtie, and eyes in a slightly lighter shade than her hair. She wears a 3/4 sleeve version of the white Shujin uniform sweater, with black arm braces peeking out from under the ends of the sleeves, and wraps around her wrists. For her lower half, she wears a pair of black biker shirts underneath her school uniform skirt, a black knee brace, white crew socks, and white sports sneakers with red patterning on the sides.

She is a fortune teller based out of Shinjuku that you meet fairly early on in the game, and ends up becoming part of your Confidants roster, with her assigned arcana card being (Wheel of) ‘Fortune’.

Chihaya has very long blonde hair that she wears a black headband over, and light purpley-brown eyes. She wears a scoop neck dark blue shirt, with a very light pinkish-lavender spaghetti strap dress over top, with black clock-like designs in large patterns all over it, finished with black ribbons. The look is finished off with black-blue opaque tights, metallic grey ballet flats with straps, and a simple chain necklace with a red stone hanging from it.

Goro Akechi from Persona 5/Royal

Goro Akechi (voiced in Japanese by  Sōichirō Hoshi and in English by Robbie Daymond) is one of the major characters in the Persona 5 set of the franchise, featuring in the majority of the games in the 5 umbrella.

He is a well known TV personality, following the success of him as an up and coming detective despite still being in high school, much to his discomfort. Throughout Royal you get to experience him much more as a fleshed out character, meeting him for solo-hangouts at his favorite jazz bar and playing pool and darts with him, building many more layers into his relationship with the protagonist. Akechi briefly joins the Phantom Thieves, after being one of their biggest criticizers, though the major twist puts an end to that relatively quickly (Royal also expands on this, and adds an extra team dynamic).

He has shaggy, light-brown hair that he wears just above his shoulders, and his eyes are a lovely chocolate brown. The main outfit we see him in (not including the additional Royal outfit) consists of a white button-up shirt with a white tie covered in thin black stripes, and a light tan peacoat worn over top, with his badge affixed to the pocket, and a tiny pin on the the lapel. He wears black slacks with matching loafers, and the look is finished off with a pair of black leather gloves, which end up being very plot relevant later on.
