And original hits, from K-pop stars who slay while they sing, to a French inspired dark fantasy. Here are the top 10 newest cosplay trends of 2025 that we expect to see cosplay galore.

K-Pop Demon Hunters
We’re gonna show you how it’s done! K-Pop Demon Hunters is the movie that everyone is talking about while listening to its super catchy soundtrack. The plot follows Rumi, Mira, and Zoey – aka Huntrix, a K-Pop girl group sensation – who balance their lives in the spotlight with their secret identities as demon hunters. We expect to see numerous cosplays of Huntrix and Saja Boys.
Superman
It’s up, up, up and away for cosplay! James Gunn’s new Superman movie offers a much-needed reset for the DCEU, and according to early reviews, a faithful comic book adaptation. With the success of this 2025 film, we expect to see an uptick in Superman cosplays, plus Lex Luthor, Green Lantern, and Hawkgirl.

From the name alone, you may think this is your typical dating sim. However, it’s anything but. This first-person game involves dating everyday household objects, each with their own humanized persona, all fully voice acted. Despite its odd premise, creative designs turn furniture into fashion, making it a hit for cosplayers.

Time to break out the fake blood. This vampire thriller directed by Ryan Coogler has achieved critical acclaim and broken multiple box office records. Sinners has already sunk its teeth into the cosplay scene, with multiple cosplays of Smoke, Stack, Remmick, and Mary.
Sabrina Carpenter
Have you ever tried this one? It may be a bit peculiar to see a popstar make this list, though cosplayers are channeling the “Espresso” popstar and her sweet, girly style – from Sabrina Carpenter’s sequined “Juno” rompers to her pastel music video outfits – at cons. Other notable popstar cosplays include Taylor Swift and Chappell Roan.
Fantastic Four: First Steps
Marvel is consistent hit at conventions, so it’s no surprise the upcoming Fantastic Four movie makes this list. While the expedition outfits are very intricate, there are already some sewing patterns out there for advanced cosplayers. And we’ve already seen a few cosplays of the simple yet meme-worthy Baguette outfit.

Between season 2 of DanDaDan, a live action announcement of Solo Leveling, and more, choosing just one trending anime to make this list was near impossible. The Apothecary Diaries has surged in popularity, with a new teaser announcing a sequel following the conclusion of its second season. This historical anime will surely inspire some beautiful cosplays at anime events.
