Carbon Costume

Rosie is the titular character of the animated children’s TV series, Everything’s Rosie. She is a ragdoll-esque child who goes on adventures with woodland animals. Viewers learn simple lessons with various stories in her colorful world. The headpiece requires some DIY with the materials featured here. Use tape or glue to secure strips of colorful ribbons to the headband, and place a large teal button in the middle. Complete the top by sewing two pink buttons vertically on the white t-shirt.

Nadia from the Netflix dark comedy-drama series Russian Doll is played by the iconic Natasha Lyonne, who also created the show. Nadia is the stylish protagonist of the series where we follow her living the same day, her birthday, over and over. Her strong/tough personality reflects in her wardrobe. She is a true New Yorker and therefore wears lots of black and grey. Her outfit almost always consists of a silk blouse and a wool coat. She always wears a gold necklace and plays with layering. She is serious in her clothing but always hilariously dismissive towards the world in the show. You can never go wrong with Natasha Lyonne!

Honey (voiced in Japanese by Ayaka Saitou and in English by Luci Christian) is one of the secondary main characters in the anime/manga Ouran High School Host Club.

He is one of the members of the school’s Host Club that he runs with his friends, playing up the cute childlike aspect of his appearance, despite being the oldest one of the group. He is usually seen being carried around by his cousin, Mori.

Honey has fluffy blonde, slightly side spiked hair, and golden brown eyes. He wears a white button up shirt, a black tie with thin purple detailing on it, the periwinkle school jacket, a pair of black slacks, and black formal shoes. He is often seen carrying around his plush bunny, Usa-chan.

Janine Teagues, played by the show’s creator Quinta Brunson, is the main character from the show Abbott Elementary. Janine is a second grade teacher at the elementary school in the series. She is a determined and kind character that is passionate about helping her students and coworkers be the best versions of themselves that they can be. Janine has a school-appropriate but stylish and comfy style to all of her outfits. She wears lots of warm colors, chunky sweaters, and fun patterns. You’ll usually see her in a turtle or mock-neck, maxi dresses and fun and flowy pants or skirts.

Kevin Stoley is a minor character in South Park. He is a South Park student in the boys’ class. He is also a known sci-fi geek, often dressing up as characters from sci-fi movies and TV shows. He has a twin sister named Esther and a girlfriend named Red.

Mori (voiced in Japanese by Daisuke Kirii and in English by Travis Willingham) is one of the secondary main characters in the anime/manga Ouran High School Host Club.

He is the second oldest out of all the hosts in the club, after his cousin, Honey, who he is usually seen carrying around on his shoulders. He is usually very quiet, and doesn’t prefer to talk to people much, but is very protective of his friends.

Mori has short, spiky black hair, and light grey eyes. Like the others, he wears a white button up shirt, the thin black tie with purple line accents, Ouran’s periwinkle school jacket, black slacks, and black formal shoes.

Cynthia Zdunowski (played by Ari Notartomaso) is one-fourth of the titular group at the heart of the prequel series Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies.  Cynthia has always dreamt of being a member of the T-birds, but isn’t allowed to join.  The Pink Ladies are born when Cynthia joins with friends Nancy, Olivia, and Jane.  Cynthia often wears trousers and favors more loose-fitting silhouettes than other members of the Pink Ladies.  Don’t be afraid to clash patterns as well, since Cynthia does so often.  The unique mustard-colored sweater with hood is difficult to find an exact match for, but several similar options exist so you can choose whichever you think looks closest.  Add Cynthia’s name to a Pink Ladies jacket with a black fabric marker.

Sailor Mercury [Ami] (voiced in Japanese by Aya Hisakawa and in English by Karen Berstein, Liza Balkan, and Kate Higgins) is one of the main characters in the anime/manga, Sailor Moon.

She was the second of the scouts to join under Luna’s guidance, very close to the start of the series. Ami is very technology based and uses that in her fighting style, with a pocket sized supercomputer that Luna gave her.

Thematically she is very blue, with short, dark blue hair and eyes in a slightly lighter shade, and her sailor uniform being the white base as the others, but with dark and light blue accents. She wears white elbow length gloves with dark blue cuffs, a solid blue choker, knee high dark blue boots with a light blue edge on them, and the same tiara headband as the others but with a blue gem.
