Madame Red from Kuroshitsuji
Angelina Dalles, more commonly known as Madame Red (voiced in Japanese by Romi Park and in English by Lydia Mackay) is Ciel Phantomhive’s Aunt in the anime/manga Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler.
She has a lot of past trauma from familial death and her inability to have children, and this drove her to become (along with Grelle) Jack the Ripper, which sadly ends with Grelle using her chainsaw death scythe on her.
Her whole appearance is red themed, with bright red hair, eyes, and matching lipstick. She wears a long red ruffle flared skirt, a white button up shirt with a white cravat tie, a red vest over top, and beautifully detailed red boots. Over top of this she wears a long red coat, that Grelle eventually ends up wearing as part of her outfit, after Angelina’s death.
Frankie Stein
Frankie Stein is a character in the Monster High franchise. They are the child of Frankenstein’s monster. Comprised of the body parts of geniuses, they are extremely intelligent. With dolls, cartoons, and a live action movie, Frankie has many different styles. Therefore, our costume guide features a variety of pieces to assemble a unique outfit. Plaid fabric attests to a nerdy, yet preppy look. A studded belt adds punk flair. The color palette consists of black, white, and blue; the new generation features neon tones as well. Add neck bolts and stitches and you’ll be too ghoul for school.
Gin Akutagawa from Bungo Stray Dogs
Gin Akutagawa (voiced in Japanese by Shiina Natsukawa and in English by Allegra Clark) is part of the Port Mafia in the anime/manga Bungo Stray Dogs, as well as Ryunosuke Akutagawa‘s younger sister.
Gin is one of the battalion leaders of the Black Lizard, under the instruction of the Port Mafia. Growing up on the streets with her brother, she’s learned to be very defensive, and has become a talented and silent assassin. She has a softer and sweeter side to herself, but it’s not usually shown around the other Mafia members, aside from Ryunosuke.
She has long black hair that she wears up in a spiked ponytail with loose bangs, and the same bright grey eyes as her brother. The outfit that she wears while on duty is a grey striped tanktop, a black choker necklace, a long and tattered black longcoat with one gartered sleeve and one ripped sleeve, long sheer gloves, black pants, black heeled boots, and a crisscross layered white facemask.
Kyouka from Bungo Stray Dogs
Kyouka (voiced in Japanese by Sumire Morohoshi and in English by Cherami Leigh) is one of the secondary main characters in the anime/manga Bungo Stray Dogs.
She was originally part of the Port Mafia and very much under their control, but defected fairly early on in the series and now works with Atsushi and the rest of the Armed Detective Agency.
Her hair color is a bit different between the anime and manga (blueish purple vs black) but she usually wears it in low pigtails regardless, and has very pretty blue eyes. The outfit she wears is a red kimono with leafy detailing, and the rest of her outfit’s accessories are highlighted in reds and yellows, such as a the red straps on her sandals. Kyouka has flowers tying off her pigtails, a white headband, and she carries around her cellphone on a string around her neck with a bunny keychain attached to it.
Joel from The Last of Us (HBO)
Joel Miller (played by Pedro Pascal) is one of the main characters in HBO’s video game adaptation The Last of Us. Joel is a smuggler working out of the Boston Quarantine Zone twenty years into the pandemic that resulted in the death of his daughter Sarah. Soon, he is tasked with escorting Ellie Williams out of the QZ. Joel’s clothing is rugged and durable. He wears more than one outfit, but you can’t go wrong with a flannel shirt and jeans, maybe layered under a brown coat. Most importantly, Joel always wears his green banded wristwatch, even though it no longer works, because having it fixed was his daughter’s last gift to him before she died.
Principal Weems from Wednesday
Principal Larissa Weems (Gwendolyn Christie) is a character in the Netflix show, Wednesday. She is the principal of Nevermore Academy as well as a former student, who was roommates with Morticia Addams. Strict and proper, Principal Williams becomes increasingly frustrated with Wednesday, who refuses to follow the rules and seems to always cause mischief.
Joker from Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus
Joker (voiced in Japanese by Mamoru Miyano and in English by Matthew Mercer) is one of the key characters in the Book of Circus arc in the anime/manga Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler.
He is the technical leader of the Noah’s Ark Circus, as well as a first-string member. While he is boisterous and showy during the performances, Joker is also very serious when it comes to the more gruesome tasks he is made to do.
Joker has blueish purple eyes highlighted with black eyeliner and a tealy blue teardrop drawn on. He has heavily stylized bleached bright orange hair that’s clipped back and braided (a note on the wig, every single Joker one I found had the purple section. I would advise either trying to bleach it yourself, if you are experienced, or try and trim it and add in the hair insert clips). His outfit is very showy, as the ringmaster, and has lots of thematic diamond theming tying in the vest and pants together. As with a few of the other members of the circus troupe, he has a missing limb, so while one of his hands is gloved, the other is a replacement skeletal arm.
Chuuya Nakahara from Bungo Stray Dogs
Chuuya Nakahara (voiced in Japanese by Kishō Taniyama and in English by Nicolas Roye) is one of the top executives in the Port Mafia in the anime/manga Bungo Stray Dogs.
Chuuya is Dazai‘s former partner in the Double Black team from when they were both part of the Port Mafia, and still works with him when their organizations work in tandem against a larger power. His main ability is gravity manipulation, but he also has larger god-like powers that can be overwhelming and only tamable by Dazai.
He has very pretty blue eyes and long orange fluffy hair, worn longer over one shoulder. He wears a white button up shirt, a black harness-type tie over top, a black choker collar, a grey vest, a black and brown bolero jacket, a black and brown longcoat that he wears off-shoulder, black pants, black shoes, and a pair of black gloves, all of it topped off with a black hat with a brown trim.
Misaki Yata from K Project
Misaki Yata (voiced in Japanese by Jun Fukuyama and in English by Ben Diskin) is one of the main characters in the anime/manga K Project.
Yata is the captain of the front line of the group he belongs to, HOMRA, and has the insignia of his group tattooed on his collarbone. He has a very hot-headed personality and will take every opportunity to go all out in a fight, usually using his baseball bat and skateboard in tandem. Despite being loud and aggressive at many things, he holds the members of his group very dear to himself (even Fushimi, loathe as he is to admit it).
While it’s usually covered by his beanie, he has shaggy copper red hair that fluffs out at the ends and hazel eyes. He usually wears very comfortable clothes as he’s active a lot, so the outfit we mostly see him in is a loose white sweater with blue collar detailing, green boardshorts, a red sweater tied around his waist, black socks, and blue and orange shoes. The look is finished off with a pair of white and black headphones and a black watch. Yata does wear a blue tanktop underneath the sweater, but you rarely see it unless he’s not wearing the sweater, so that’s pretty whatever you want to wear under it.
Marilyn Thornhill from Wednesday
Ms. Marilyn Thornhill is a character in the Netflix show, Wednesday. She is the first “Normie” on the teaching staff at Nevermore Academy. She teaches botany, specifically carnivorous plants. She is the dorm mom of the Ophelia Dorm, where Wednesday and Enid reside. You may recognize this actress too: It’s none other than, Christina Ricci, who portrayed Wednesday in The Addams Family movies from the 90s.
