Suguru Geto from Jujutsu Kaisen
Suguru Geto (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai and Lex Lang) is one of the primary antagonists of the manga and anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. Suguru was once a student at Jujutsu Tech alongside Shoko Ieiri and his former partner Satoru Gojo. Suguru became known as one of the worst curse users after he used his powers to massacre non-sorcerers. Suguru wears dark blue robes and has long black hair that is partly tied back. You can find high-quality versions of his uniform for cosplay, though if you are flexible with the appearance and want to save money, you can always mix and match different pieces to recreate the look instead.
Midge from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
In Amazon Prime’s comedy-drama The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Miriam (Midge) is a Jewish-American housewife living in 1950’s New York City. With her impeccable wardrobe, elegant home, rigorous beauty regimen, and a family of her own, she appears to have everything figured out. But when life takes an unexpected turn for the worst, she discovers a hidden talent for stand-up comedy and hits the road to stardom with her amateur talent manager Susie Myerson. Midge flaunts countless iconic looks throughout the series, but nothing says Mrs. Maisel more than the all-pink ensemble from the show’s first episode. This costume will have you screaming “We got the Rabbi!” outside your local deli.
Kirk Fogg
Actor Kirk Fogg is the host of the 90s Nickelodeon game show, Legends of the Hidden Temple. During the first season, he announced each event, asked tiebreaker questions, and handed out the Pendants of Life. He also playfully interacts with Olmec. The image on the right features Kirk from the recent movie adaptation. Two minor alterations to the updated outfit are a gray t-shirt instead of white, and a red patch on his button down. It also seems the branded pouch was swapped for a regular brown pouch.
Young Sheldon Cooper from Young Sheldon
Young Sheldon Cooper (played by Iain Armitage with voiceover from Jim Parsons) is the titular protagonist of the CBS sitcom Young Sheldon. A spinoff of the popular Big Bang Theory, the series focuses on Sheldon Cooper’s childhood in East Texas, where his proclivity for learning and genius intellect are often at odds with his family and peers, including his older brother Georgie. Whereas the elder Sheldon was known for his geeky collection of t-shirts, young Sheldon often favors plaid button-ups and bow ties, making for a fun and comfortable costume. To put the finishing touches on the look, be sure to bring a vintage-looking briefcase and style your hair with a little shine.
Maya Lopez from Hawkeye
Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) is a character in the new Marvel series, Hawkeye, streaming on Disney+. She is an athlete and martial artist. After the death of her father at what she believes are the hands of Ronin, she sets out for revenge. She commands the Tracksuit Mafia with Kazi as her right hand man. Maya is deaf and uses ASL to communicate. This parallels Clint Barton’s own hearing impairment introduced in the show. In the comics, she known as Echo, for she can replicate her opponent’s moves. Tie your hair into a low ponytail and go for a bronze smokey eye look.
Freakazoid
Freakazoid is the title character of the mid-90s Kids WB animated series of the same name and a co-production between the crews that created Kids WB’s two more successful series Batman (Bruce Timm and Paul Dini) and Animaniacs (Tom Reugger and Steven Spielberg). Though its run was short, it proved to be a cult classic that still endures to this day, thanks to its mix of absurd humor and references to pop culture and (then) current events.
The title character is a wacky superhero who is the alter-ego of teenage nerd Dexter Douglas. While surfing the internet, Dexter has an accident (partly thanks to the high-tech chip he gets for Christmas and his cat walking on the keyboard) and whenever he says “Freak Out!” he transforms into the blue-skinned hero.
Clint Barton from Hawkeye
Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) is a main character in the new Marvel series, Hawkeye, streaming on Disney+. When the Avenger finds his murderous past as Ronin coming to haunt him, a trip to New York during Christmas turns into confronting old enemies. Reluctantly partnering up with Kate Bishop, another master archer, he plans to take down the tracksuit mafia once and for all. However, it’s all bigger than they imagined, for the head of the operation is revealed to be none other than Kingpin. The show introduced Clint’s deafness from the comic with a hearing aid.
Shoko Ieiri from Jujutsu Kaisen
Shoko Ieiri (voiced by Aya Endo and Ryan Bartley) is a former classmate of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto, as well as the current Tokyo Jujutsu High School doctor in the anime and manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. Shoko is a rather gloomy and serious person who is adept at her job because of her mastery of the reversed healing cursed technique. Shoko wears dark navy pants and a blue turtleneck under her white lab coat. You can use a black eyeliner pencil to draw on the beauty mark beneath her right eye, as well as darken the area beneath both eyes to emulate her perpetually tired appearance.
Emperor Kuzco
Emperor Kuzco (voiced by David Spade) is the protagonist of the animated Disney film, Emperor’s New Groove and its television spin-off, The Emperor’s New School. Kuzco is the teenage emperor of the Inca Empire, but he pays no heed to the needs of others. Spoiled and vainglorious, he cares more about luxury than leadership. After a potion from Yzma turns him into a llama rather than causing his death, Kuzco realizes the error of his ways.
Erika Kaijima from Mahou Shoujo Site
Erika Kajima (voiced by Eri Kitamura) is a minor antagonist in the manga and anime series Mahou Shoujo Site (Magical Girl Site). A cruel and insensitive girl, Erika tormented Aya Asagiri until the other girl finally snapped when Erika took things too far. Erika wears the same school uniform as Aya and the other girls in her class, though her outfit stands apart from others because of the thigh-high striped stockings she wears. Her shoulder-length honey blonde hair is worn in a half pony on one side with an orange scrunchie.
