In GI Joe, Wild Bill (voiced by Frank Welker) is the pilot of the Dragonfly helicopter. After service in the Vietnam War as William S. Hardy, he received specialized training and joined the GI Joe team. He's also an expert scout and tracker, skills he acquired hunting as a child in Texas. In his off time, he enjoys telling tall tales and singing country western songs.
