Cisco Ramon from The Flash
Cisco Ramon (played by Carlos Valdes) is the sweetheart of Team Flash. He is the one who always holds out hope that things can get better. He also tends to be a little more silly than the rest of the team but don’t let that fool you. He is wildly intelligent and can be a ruthless fighter when called on. This is especially true when he has his meta-human powers and joins the team as the vigilante, Vibe.
Cisco’s day to day clothes tend to be very comfortable and casual. He likes wearing graphic t-shirts and isn’t shy about wearing the S.T.A.R. Labs logo. A button-up flannel and a basic canvas jacket are his go-to layers while study khakis and high tops make up the rest of his outfit.
As Vibe he prefers a more uniform look. He has a special jacket as well as leather pants, dark boots, and goggles with blue lenses. No matter what he’s wearing though he has shoulder-length brown hair that has a lot of natural curve and wave to it.
Henry Stickmin
Henry Stickmin (voice by Marcus Bromander) is the hero(?) of the Henry Stickmin series. He starts out as a petty thief. And then, whether or not he likes he, he gets swept up into espionage, grand theft, and the wider criminal underworld.
As complicated as his life is, however, his costume is very simple! A black body suit and brown shoes make up his “clothes”. A white bald cap and face makeup give you the final touches of a “stick figure” look. You can add to his basic cosplay by wearing a black top hat with a gold patch, a blue top hat with a gold H on it, a red bow tie and name tag, or a bullet belt and machete. It just depends on the ending!
Red Skull
Red Skull (portrayed by Hugo Weaving in the MCU) was the first recipient of the serum that eventually turned Steve Rogers into Captain America. It – for better or worse – did not have the same effect on Johann Schmidt. Instead of great strength and agility he was reduced to a blood-red near-skeleton ever in search of power he cannot hope to control.
Cosplaying as the Red Skull takes a bit of work because getting the skeleton-like look is not easy. Start with a bald cap and some red SFX paint. Red gloves will cover your hands and a little bit of standard makeup can finish the look. Then add on a long black military-style coat, bloused pants, and black boots. Finally around out the costume with a Hydra belt buckle, a World War Two pistol, and a tesseract!
Mymble from Moominvally
Mymble (voiced by Jennifer Saunders) is a character in the decades-old Finnish Moominvalley franchise. In the most recent remake she is a relatively minor character with a very simply design. Don’t let her design fool you, though. Putting together a Mymble cosplay will take a little bit of DIY.
Mymble is usually seen wearing a very full white coat with yellow stripes, yellow buttons, and purple cuffs that match her purple scarf. Her feet aren’t visible which means that you can wear any shoes you want. And her ginger hair is pulled up in a pointy top knot that you can gel in place so that your wig is always ready to go.
The DIY comes in with Mymbles coat. It is very simple but finding something like it is almost impossible. Your best bet is to buy a dress with sleeves, then use fabric paint to add on the stripes. A little bit of sewing will add the buttons to the front. And you can make purple cuffs by cutting off part of the large purple scarf linked above since Mymble’s scarf is fairly short.
You can also add a hoop or petticoat under the dress to fill it out like Mymble’s coat or you can leave the dress loose for the sake of comfort.
Mary Jane from Disjointed
Mary Jane (played by Missi Pyle) is the spiritual embodiment of marijuana. She appears to Pete in a time of need and gets … attached. Very attached. Clingy, even. But hey, what’s a possibly imaginary relationship with a divine being representing the plant you’ve spent your life growing to a professional like Pete?!
Mary Jane is a bit of a spin on ancient Greek gods. So the basis of her costume is a flowing green dress that attaches at the wrists as well. The attachments are covered with fake marijuana leaves which also make up her crown. A blonde wig and gold sandals finish off the look!
You will have to make her crown, unfortunately. But thankfully it’s easy to make! Start with a basic fern crown and add on fake pot leaves with a glue gun! I recommend the Chandler as it’s the one I use for all of my cosplay work.
Dank and Dabby from Disjointed
It’s hard to describe Dank and Dabby. They’re unique people on their own. Together they form an entertaining duo that brings a healthy dose of adorably strange to the scene whenever they show up. Don’t let the funny fool you, though. They’re also sharp business owners, talented artists, and fiercely loyal friends.
Dank and Dabby both have distinctive styles. Dank favors stiff-brimmed hats, marijuana-themed t-shirts, dark jeans, and sneakers. Dabby’s look always includes an unusual cat t-shirt, a purple zip-front hoodie, Chuck Taylor’s, and a unique hairstyle with some of her hair up on top of her head in a top knot and the rest down around her shoulders
Ruth Whitefeather Feldman from Disjointed
Ruth Whitefeather Feldman (Kathy Bates) is a marijuana activist and one of the core characters on the show Disjointed. She has been an activist for more than thirty years, largely fighting for the legalization of marijuana. And while she might not always be the easiest person to get along with, she really does try to help the people around her. Whether or not they really want her help!
Ruth’s look is comfortable, colorful, and casual. You’ll want to start with a long wavy wig in silver tones. A long colorful shrug and coordinating top start the outfit while cuffed jeans and slip-on shoes finish the look. Add in some chunky jewelry and a burning desire for social justice and you’re ready to heal-p people, as Ruth likes to say!
Haida from Aggretsuko
Haida (voiced by Shingo Kato in the original Japanese and Ben Diskin in the English dub) is a laid-back hyena with a crush on the shows title character, Retsuko. While he spends most of his time at work, he’s known to haunt record shops and punk shows in his off-hours. When he’s not kicking coffee cans and landing face-up in a puddle he’s a great calm counterpoint to the high-energy chaos that is Retsuko.
To get Haida’s off-hours look you’ll want to start with a messy brunette wig. Makeup pencils can recreate his spots as freckles too. After that all you need is a leather bike jacket, a red and black striped shirt, black jeans, and black boots.
Fenneko from Aggretsuko
Fenneko (voiced by Mina Inoue in the original Japanese and Katelyn Gault in the English dub) is a cool-headed fox that works in the accounting department of Chalaryman Trading Company with Retsuko and Haida. Where Retsuko is high-energy and loud, Fenneko is reserved and quiet. Until you get a couple of beers into her that is. But don’t let her quiet nature fool you. She’s got her eye on everything and picks up on the latest gossip faster than the best tabloids.
Fenneko’s most iconic look is her work outfit. You can replicate this look with a white blonde wig and cream colored leggings to mimic her ears and fur. A blue vest, white blouse, blue skirt, and pair of black heels round out her outfit. Keep your phone in your hand for social media deep dives and you’re rocking Fenneko’s look!
Gori from Aggretsuko
Gori (voice by Maki Tsuruta in the original Japanese and by G.K. Bowes in the English dub) is a big-hearted gorilla at the head of marketing for Chalaryman Trading Company. She is best friend’s with the CEO’s secretary and quickly becomes close friends with Retsuko. Gori feels deeply and isn’t afraid to show it to her friends though she keeps it cool at work. And for good reason: she is one half of the most powerful duo in the company!
To get Gori’s look you need a few key pieces. Her signature pink midi and matching pink heels are the most important parts of the costume. After that you’ll need gold stud earrings and a gold bead necklace. Finish off the costume with a black bobbed wig and you’re good to go!
