In Soul Eater, Maka Albarn is a young student who takes after her mother, a prodigious meister. Maka is obsessed with making her weapon partner, Soul Eater, into a death scythe that surpasses her father Spirit Albarn.

In the Square Enix game NieR: Automata, YoRHa No.2 Type B, or simply 2B, is a battle android created by humans who’ve taken refuge from the Machines on the Moon. Calm, cool, and collected, her weapon of choice is the blade.

In Dragon Age: Inquisition, Sera (voiced by Robyn Addison) is an elven archer. She delights in humbling authority, and often acts out in impulsive and reactionary ways. She fights for innocents caught in the middle, and isn’t scared to put an arrow in a baddie.

In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Link awakens from a deep sleep having lost all of his memory. A mysterious voice guides him as he explores the ruined Kingdom of Hyrule and embarks on a quest to defeat Calamity Ganon before he destroys the world.

In Dexter’s Lab, Mom (voiced by Kath Soucie) is Dexter and Dee Dee’s mother. She is a busy housewife and a bit of a germaphobe, who can always be seen in a pair of yellow rubber gloves keeping the house sparkling clean.

In Dragon Ball Z, Master Roshi is an old master of the martial arts, responsible for training Goku and Ox-King among many others. He wears sunglasses and beach clothes, which leads him to believe he’s the epitome of cool and the ultimate stud.

In Rugrats, Didila “Didi” Kropotkin-Pickles is the loving mother of Tommy and Dil. She is a teacher of home economics and a practitioner of child psychologist Dr. Lipschitz’s advice. Behind her large round glasses hide beady black eyes.

In Street Fighter, Akuma is a fighter with a demonic appearance, including red hair and glowing eyes. Both his appearance and playstyle are reminiscent of Ken and Ryu, though usually packing a stronger punch.
