Hannah Marie from Scary Godmother

Hannah Marie is a character in the Scary Godmother books and movies. The children’s books were written and illustrated by Jill Thompson. Hannah is the protagonist of the series. On Halloween, her older cousin, Jimmy, takes her trick-or-treating. Yet Jimmy plays a mean prank and locks her in a haunted house. As Hannah begins to cry, Scary Godmother comes to comfort her. She invites Hannah to Frightside, an alternate dimension fueled by Halloween magic. At first, she’s scared of the monsters, but she quickly befriends them. Hannah becomes particularly close to Scary Godmother, Bugaboo, and Orson. While also sweet-natured and friendly, Hannah grows into a brave, assertive, and admirable character. Jimmy Neutron

Jimmy Neutron (short for James Isaac Neutron) is the protagonist of the Nickelodeon show, Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. His two best friends are Carl Wheezer and Sheen Estevez, and he has a robot dog named Goddard. As the title suggests, Jimmy is impressively intelligent with an IQ of 210. When he’s in a crisis, he urges his brain by saying “Think, think, think!” and when he figures out a solution, he exclaims “Brain Blast!” While Jimmy is kind and caring, his knowledge can make him an arrogant know-it-all. However, he enjoys being the one to save the day. To him, there’s nothing whipping up a new invention or science experiment can’t fix.

Geri from Geri’s Game

Ger is the main character in the Pixar short “Geri’s Game” from 1997. It was released in theaters along with A Bug’s Life and won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film in 1998. Geri is an old man who plays chess against himself in a park as both Black and White.

Fairy Godmother in Cinderella (2021)

The fairy godmother, portrayed by the iconic Billy Porter, is a character in Cinderella (2021). In this iteration, a monarch butterfly transforms into the fairy godmother. Introducing himself as her fabulous godmother, he says Cinderella saved her, and now he plans to send her to the ball. With a rendition of “Shining Star,” he uses magic to make one of her gown designs come to life. Of course, he pairs it with the signature glass slippers.

Orson is a character in the Scary Godmother books and movies. The children’s books were written and illustrated by Jill Thompson. As the son of vampire Count Max and Countess Ruby, he is the prince of the night. However, he’s often embarrassed by his parents’ outdated ways, and prefers modern culture. He’s nerdy and shy, but he also likes creepy things, as all vampires do. Orson is very curious about the human world, and would rather know more about them than drink their blood. For instance, he shows affection towards Hannah, his first human friend — and maybe his first crush.

Wasp

Wasp is a character in the Marvel universe. Her real name is Hope Van Dyne, daughter of Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne. She has a strained relationship with her father, but when Scott Lang enters the picture, she must help them both. Hope is resourceful about the quantum realm as well as skilled in fighting techniques. These traits allow her to embody Wasp, and she teams up with Scott as Ant-Man in the second film. In addition to shrinking and growing, her abilities include flight and energy blasters. Evangeline Lily portrays this role in both installments.

Flynn Rider

Flynn Rider is a main character in Disney’s Tangled. He is a scoundrel and a thief, and all the wanted posters can never get his nose right. He tries to steal Rapunzel‘s tiara, but she coerces him into taking her to see the floating lanterns. Surely enough, he falls in love with Rapunzel, and realizes his new dream is to be with her. Despite Mother Gothel interfering, Flynn helps the lost princess reunite with her family and reclaim her title. Unlike a typical prince, Flynn is rugged and witty. His real name is Eugene Fitzherbert, yet he goes by Flynn Rider, a fictional swashbuckler from his bedtime stories. He’s voiced by Zachary Levi, who you may know as Shazam.

Princess Yue

Princess Yue is a character in Avatar: The Last Airbender. She was the sixteen year old princess of the Northern Water Tribe. When the Avatar crew arrive at the North Pole, Sokka becomes smitten with her beauty. The two pursued a romantic relationship despite her betrothal to a Northern warrior named Hahn. When Admiral Zhao tries to conquer the kingdom, Yue led Aang and Katara to the Spirits Oasis so he could enter the Spirit World. Kissing Sokka goodbye, she sacrificed herself to the Moon Spirit to stop Zhao from rendering all waterbenders powerless. Sokka never forgot Yue, and she returned in her spirit form to help Aang reconnect with his past lives.

Alligator Loki

Alligator Loki is among the many Loki variants in the Disney+ show Loki. Our version of Loki meets them with his other variants, such as Boastful Loki, Kid Loki, and Classic Loki. When they’re under attack, they bites off President Loki’s hand. Many fans have dubbed him “Croki” — though that insinuates he’s a crocodile.

Ant-Man, aka Scott Lang, is a character in the Marvel universe. Scott Lang starts out as a convict, but he ends up becoming a superhero who must save the world. With the mentoring and technology of Hank Pym, he becomes the new Ant-Man. His abilities include shrinking and growing, as well as communication with ants. Beloved and never-aging actor Paul Rudd portrays this role, bringing a lighthearted sense of humor.
