Lind L. Taylor from Death Note
Lind L. Taylor is a character from the anime Death Note. He is a convicted criminal on death row, but he is an ally of L. To determine Kira’s location, L uses Lind as bait via a worldwide broadcast. Lind introduces himself as L and declares Kira will be caught, and his evil crimes will be exposed. Enraged, Light (Kira) writes Tailor’s name in the Death Note. Still on the air, Lind suddenly dies of a heart attack. Because L used the broadcast for a decoy, as it was not worldwide but specifically televised in the Kanto region of Japan, he figures out Kira’s location.
Dash from Dash & Lily
Dash (Austin Abrams) is a main character in the 2020 Netflix show Dash & Lily In this holiday romantic comedy, Dash harbors cynicism about Christmas. After finding a notebook at Strand Books in New York City, he writes in response to the optimistic Lily, who adores the holidays and romance. Dash and Lily continue passing the notebook to each other, communicating through the pages. Eventually they plan to meet, which both scares and excites them.
Asaka from Once On This Island
Asaka is one of the four gods in Once On This Island. The people on the island worship her as Mother of Earth, praying for her to “grow me a garden.” Asaka helps Ti Moune navigate the wild in her song “Mama Will Provide.” Glee star Alex Newell played this role in the 2018 Broadway revival. Clint Ramos designed this uniquely original costume; his concepts were inspired by the aftermath of natural disasters in the Caribbean. To make the skirt like the design, wrap the tablecloth around your waist. Use the fake leaves and flowers to embellish the headdress.
Enola Holmes
Enola Holmes is the main character of the Netflix movie, Enola Holmes. Alongside being the eponymous protagonist, she is the movie’s narrator. Based on the YA books written by Nancy Springer, Enola is the teenage sister of the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. Like her brother, she possesses incredible intelligence and observational skills, defying the gender norms for the era. Clever and well-read, her mother taught her everything from chess to jujitsu. Following her mother’s disappearance, she travels to London. Pretending to be a traditional Victorian woman, she deciphers and deduces the clues. Millie Bobby Brown, who you may recognize as Eleven from Stranger Things, plays the title role. This costume guide features her notable red gown, her casual blue dress (not pictured), and outfit for archery in the living room. While we can’t see the bottom half of Enola for that last look, we suggest matching white pants or a long white skirt.

The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) is a Canadian singer and record producer. His main genres include R&B, pop, and alternative. His electronic sound and falsetto voice has inspired modern R&B. His hit single “Blinding Lights” appears on his latest album, After Hours. It’s a music video full of fast cars, sick reverb, – and you guessed it, blinding lights — with nearly 285 million views on Youtube.
Lila Pitts from the Umbrella Academy
Lila Pitts (Ritu Arya) is a character in season two of Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy. First introduced as Diego’s fellow psychiatric patient, Lila has a secret behind her witty comebacks and street smarts. She is actually the adopted daughter of The Handler — peep the red boots — and possesses the power of mimicry. She helps carry out her plan to track down Number Five, who supposedly killed her parents. She uses her powers to maim the Hargreeves siblings, but her love for Diego prompts her to turn on her adoptive mother. Emulate her spunky sixties style with choppy hair and smudged eyeshadow.
Lucifer Morningstar from Lucifer
Lucifer (Tom Ellis) is the eponymous protagonist of the hit show Lucifer. Getting bored with ruling Hell, he defies his father and flees to Earth. He spends his time drinking, partying, and flirting as the owner of LA’s hottest nightclub, LUX. When he becomes involved in a murder, he meets Detective Chloe Decker. After helping her solve the murder, he agrees to be her consultant for the LAPD. Despite his charismatic and indulgent personality, Lucifer realizes he’s changing, but his stubbornness and selfishness keep him from revealing the truth. Other celestial characters such as Amenadiel and Eve try to get him to return to Hell, yet as events unfold, Lucifer and Chloe allow their love for each other to prevail through the hellish darkness. Use a stipple sponge and black eyeshadow to achieve his stubble.
Lady Tamayo from Demon Slayer
Lady Tamayo is a supporting character in the hit anime, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba. Although she is a demon, she is a skilled doctor. She defies her nature by healing humans through her medicinal practices. She advises Tanjiro on how to produce a cure for Nezuko. Tamayo is gentle and kind, moved to tears when Nezuko shows her affection. She knows a lot about demons and demon transformations; she’s wisest character in the series. Her main enemy is Muzan Kibutsuji.
Rengoku Kyojuro from Demon Slayer
Kyojuro Rengoku is a character from the hit anime, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Known as the Flame Pillar, he is one of the nine Hashiras of the Demon Slayer Corps. Regarding his duties as a Hashira, he is enthusiastic and eccentric. He’s a master swordsman, and he enjoys boasting about his technique as a result of his practice and discipline. Above all, Rengoku is an honorable warrior whose mantra comes from his mother: those who were born strong have a duty to protect the weak. At the end of the first season, Rengoku accompanies Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu on the Magen (Infinity) Train to defeat a high ranking demon.
Ariana Grande in “Positions”
Ariana Grande is a pop singer who continues to stay at the top of the charts, perhaps the most popular of our generation. Her song “Positions”, which is also the title of her new album, has over 200 million listens on Spotify. The music video, which features Ariana quite literally “switching the positions” as the president and posing around the White House, garnered 108 million views on Youtube.  These are only two of her 60s-era Jackie Kennedy inspired outfits from the video. Others include a vintage houndstooth winter-coat and a yellow blazer with a matching yellow miniskirt.
