NO MA’AM
NO MA’AM (National Organization of Men Against Amazonian Masterhood/Numb Old Men Anxiously Awaiting Morticians) was an anti-feminist group from the classic sitcom Married…With Children. It was founded by Al Bundy in response to Women’s Bowling Night replacing the Men’s, and the nudie bar being turned into a Women’s Coffee House. Perfect costume for a group of bros.
DIO From Stardust Crusaders
Considered one of the most iconic (and quotable) villains of modern times, DIO is a ruthless vampire and is the main villain of the whole JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series. This guide is based on his appearance in Part 3, Stardust Crusaders. A flamboyant but chiseled beast, DIO starts the series as an abused British brat. However, after securing the Stone Mask, he gains immortality as a vampire. DIO continues to torment the Joestar family nearly a century later, and his actions affect the whole franchise. Be sure to cut DIO’s jacket to proper size (about ribcage level) and cut a whole for his bulge in his pants. Red Cape optional. Use the green fabric to make DIO’s two hanging belts as well as the hearts on his headband, belt, and knees. Don’t forget the three dots on DIO’s left earlobe,
Dr. Decker
Dr. Decker is the slasher villain of the cult classic fantasy/horror film Nightbreed (played by legendary horror director David Cronenberg) and the novel Cabal by Clive Barker of Hellraiser and Candyman fame. He is a serial killer psychologist who convinces his patients that they are serial killers before reporting them to the police and having them killed.
Special Agent Dale Cooper
Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) is the protagonist of the cult classic TV series Twin Peaks. He is an optimistic if not slightly off FBI agent who is sent to the mysterious town of Twin Peaks, where he gets more than what he bargained for. A lover of mystery, black coffee, and cherry pie, Cooper’s unflinching charm has made him one of the most beloved protagonists in television history. Cooper has a wide variety of ties. For convenience, we’ll stick to his Fire Walk With Me appearance with a solid black tie.
Daisuke Jigen
Jigen Daisuke is the partner and close friend of master thief Lupin III from the Lupin III anime/manga/movie series. An expert marksman, he is said to never miss a shot. Traveling across the globe, Jigen has garnered fame as a gunman with a wildly capable speed and accuracy. Crown optional for Castle of Cagliostro fans.
Twisty the Clown
Twisty is a disgraced clown played by John Carroll Lynch in American Horror Story: Freak Show who uses increasingly twisted methods to regain his position as an entertainer of children. He wears a makeshift prosthetic mask nearly as terrifying as the disfigured face beneath.
Ben Tramer
Ben Tramer is a minor character mentioned in Halloween I and featured in one of the most memorable scenes of Halloween II. He is a young man who gets mistaken for Michael Myers
and as a result gets chased by police and ultimately killed when a police car rams him, causing an explosion.
Norman Bates
Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins) is the villain of the classic Alfred Hitchcock film Psycho and the novel it’s based on as well as the TV series Bates Motel. Commonly cited as the first “modern slasher” character, Bates is still to this day one of the most insane and mentally complex villains in all of horror. Bates himself is harmless, but due to his split personality he “becomes” his psychotic dead mother (whom he had an incestuous relationship with) who murders any female she believes is getting close to Norman.
Inspector Zenigata
Inspector Zenigata is the rival of Arsène Lupin III from the long running anime/manga/movie series Lupin III. He is an Interpol agent who is charged with arresting Lupin and his crew, but they are always outsmarting him.
Leslie Vernon
Leslie Vernon is the focus and antagonist of the cult classic mockumentary comedy-horror Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon. He is a wannabe serial killer inspired by the likes of Jason, Michael, and Freddy (who in this world really exist). What he lacks in physical power he makes up for in his cunning planning and setting up of traps for his would-be victims. Don’t forget to wear and tear his clothes. Leslie Vernon walks barefoot, so it’s recommended that you wear sandals when not posing for pictures. Black face paint for the black circles around his eyes.
