In the 2023 reboot Trigun Stampede, Meryl is a rookie reporter investigating Vash the Stampede alongside her seasoned partner Roberto De Niro. In Trigun Stampede, she wears a white blouse with blue frog button detailing, black tights, and blue shorts with a rolled hem. Her accessories include gold earrings, a blue beret, black fingerless gloves, a black belt with gold buckle, a cream-colored jacket, and white high-top sneakers. If you really want to get as close to her look from the show as possible, take a little light blue fabric paint to the buttons on a white blouse to make them pop.
Goldilocks from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
Goldilocks (voiced by Florence Pugh) is all grown up in the Dreamworks animated feature Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. The leader of a criminal gang which includes the Three Bears from her well-known fairy tale, Goldilocks allies herself with Big Jack Horner in a bid to secure the Last Wish so she can be reunited with her biological family. Goldilocks wears her hair into two enormous curly buns with two locks trailing down her back. Her costume includes a puff sleeve blouse under a blue corset top, a multicolored skirt, and brown boots. To recreate her look, you can layer multiple skirts together, and even use a pair of scissors to give them a more shredded look. Use a blonde wig with pigtail clip-ins styled as two buns and secured with teal hair ties (in the film, her hair is held in place with beaded ties, but any texture will do). Finally, wind a leather strap around your right wrist, and accessorize with pearls, a multicolored necklace, and mismatched earrings. Her staff, which has a v-shaped top, also has pearl strands wound around it.
May from It Takes Two
May (voiced by Annabelle Dowler) is one of the protagonists of the adventure video game It Takes Two. The mother of Rose and wife of Cody, May finds her mind transported into a doll her daughter has made in the midst of her separation from her husband. Cody is transported as well and they must work together to find their way home. May’s doll likeness includes blue hair made of yarn, a yellow sweater with a blue button and rope details, patchwork pants, and a pair of black shoes. She also wears black round-framed glasses. To recreate her costume, take a pair of scissors to a turtleneck sweater. You can style a blue wig into a bun and then wrap yarn around it to get closer to May’s appearance in the game. You can also fashion a blue button from a paper plate, and add stitching details with the remaining yarn if you feel up for a little sewing.
Roberto De Niro from Trigun Stampede
Roberto De Niro (voiced by Kenji Matsuda and Ben Bryant) is the latest character addition to the Trigun franchise. In the 2023 reboot Trigun Stampede, Robert is a seasoned reporter with a bit of a drinking problem. He and his rookie partner Meryl Stryfe are dispatched to investigate and report on Vash the Stampede by the Bernardelli New Agency. Robert appears far more disheveled than his partner, with brown hair that hangs in his face and a beige button-down that is often partially untucked. The rest of his outfit includes a brown blazer, brown boots, black pants, and a black belt. His mustache is darker than his beard or hair, and you can use a temporary root touch-up tool to achieve this look. Don’t forget your favorite libation in a silver flask to complete the transformation.

Eventually, she and Cricket become co-workers and Gloria opens her own cafe. Gloria has pale purple skin and blue hair. During her time as a barista at Big Coffee, she is often shown wearing her work uniform which consists of a brown hat and apron over her usual clothes; purple pants and a pink t-shirt. You can iron a coffee cup patch onto your apron to get a closer match to her apron from the show. Once she opens Gloria + Green, her uniform changes to a green apron, which she wears folded so it doesn’t cover her orange shirt. She pairs the look with brown pants. While purple body paint isn’t necessary to pull off Gloria’s look, you can certainly add it if you feel like going the extra mile.

Dr. D. Light is a character from the horror game It’s Not Me, It’s My Basement. Dr. D. Light tries to help Embry, who has told their friends and neighbors that their parents are very ill. What he comes to discover, however, is a much darker secret involving a monster in Embry’s basement. Dr. D. Light’s appearance is based heavily on those of a medieval plague doctor. The simplest way to recreate his look is to purchase a plague doctor costume set, which will come with a hat, hood, gloves, and a long jacket with a cowl. Replace the plague mask with a round white mask. With a little paint, some markers, and a dose of creativity, you can alter the mask to look more like the one from the game.
