Carbon Costume

Lightning (voiced by Tyrone Savage) is a character from Total Drama: Revenge of the Island and Total Drama All Stars.  Lightning is extremely competitive and self-centered, often showing off and even betraying an agreement with Cameron.  Lightning has a strong physique and wears a football jersey, cargo shorts, and light blue sneakers.  His accessories include a lightning bolt necklace and earrings.  To create your costume, use a large iron-on patch in the shape of “1” to transform a t-shirt into Lightning’s jersey.

Sylvia Sherwod (voiced by Yuko Kaida and Stephanie Young), also known as the Handler, is a character in the manga and anime series Spy x Family. She is a top tier WISE agent and the head of Operation Strix.  She is Loid Forger‘s handler and a mentor to him.  Sylvia is a striking women with long auburn hair and round framed glasses.  She wears a wide brimmed hat, a black dress, white blouse, black tie, fishnet stockings, and black heels.  Finding an exact match for her dress is difficult, so you may need to get a little creative to recreate her look.  You can simply layer a black long sleeved dress over a white blouse, but if you want to get closer to her appearance from the show, use a pair of sharp scissors to cut the front of a long dress to make it shorter in front and seal the raw edges with fabric glue to keep them from fraying.  Add a plum colored ribbon to your black hat to add a splash of color and prove your attention to detail.

Lucifer Morningstar (voiced by Jeremy Jordan) is the ruler of Hell and the leader of the Seven Deadly Sins in the web toon series Hazbin Hotel.  He is the father of Charlie and the estranged husband of Lilith.  Lucifer’s color palette consists of whtie and red.  To create his costume, you’ll need a white suit with tailcoat, a red and whtie striped waistcoat, black knee high boots, and a black bow tie.  Finish your costume with a blonde wig, red and white top hat, and a scepter.  Replica scepters for Lucifer with an apple on top can be expensive, but a scepter with a red jeweled top will evoke a similar effect.  To take your costume to the next level, use white face paint and then layer purple on your eyelids and pink on your cheeks.  You can also use red fabric paint to add pops of color to your tailcoat.

Mike (voiced by Cory Doran) is a character in the Total Drama series.  He appears in Total Drama: Revenge of the Island and Total Drama All Stars.  He is a member of the Mutant Maggots alongside Jo, Cameron, Brick, Anna Maria, and Zoey, his crush and future girlfriend. To recreate Mike’s look, you’ll need grey sneakers, blue jeans, and spiky black hair.  If you can’t find an exact match for Mike’s shirt, try layering a teal t-shirt over a pale yellow tee to achieve a similar look.

Eleanor Miller (voiced by Janice Karmen) is a supporting character in the cartoon series Alvin and the Chipmunks.  Eleanor is a member of the Chipettes alongside her sisters Brittany and Jeanette.  Strong willed and confident, Eleanor often stands up to her sister Brittany when she feels she is out of line.  Brittany has pale blonde hair she wears in high pigtails and wears a mint-colored outfit which includes a skirt, striped tie, and vest over a white button down shirt.  She completes the look with tall white socks and black Mary Jane shoes.

Zoey (voiced by Barbara Mamabolo) is a character from Cartoon Network’s Total Drama franchise.  She first appears as a camper in Total Drama: Revenge of the Island where she is a member of Mutant Maggots alongside Jo and Cameron.  Zoey is good natured and rather gullible, and she hopes to make friends on the island.  Zoey has short red hair she wears in pigtails.  Her clothes include strappy black wedge sandals, green capri pants, and a red sweetheart strapless top.  She wears several accessories to complete her look incluidng a hair flower, blue earrings, red bracelets, and a black choker necklace.

Annabel Lee Whitlock is one of the two main chracters of the webtoon Nevermore.  She and Lenore Vandernacht find themselves in Nevermore Academy after they die and Annabel Lee is willing to manipulate other students in order to ensure she and Lenore will receive a second chance at life.  Annabel Lee has long blonde hair and wears her uniform at Nevermore Academy, which includes a white blouse, black tailcoat, and a grey skirt with a petticoat.  She also wears black boots and carries a brown briefcase.

Suzume Mizuno (voiced by Tomoko Akiya and Colleen O’Shaughnessey) is a character in the anime and manga series Zatch Bell!  She is a schoolmate of Kiyomaro Takamine, who she has a crush on.  Suzume is a bit of a klutz and not a great student, though she has good knife skills.  To create her look, you’ll want to start with a short brown wig and white headband.  Then, build your school uniform with a blue skirt, a sailor uniform short-sleeved shirt, and a light blue tie.  Lastly, you’ll need dark blue loafers and white socks.
