Henry Sherman from The Royal Tenenbaums
In The Royal Tenenbaums, Henry Sherman (played by Danny Glover) is Etheline Tenenbaum‘s accountant-turned-husband. When Etheline’s ex-husband Royal lies about his health to regain her favor, Henry investigates only to discover the hoax. Henry is a kind man who cares deeply for Etheline. His clothing is simple, but elegant and falls in line with his profession as an accountant.

In Wes Anderson’s The Royal Tenenbaums, Etheline (played by Anjelica Huston) is the ex-wife of Royal Tenenbaum and mother to Chas, Richie, and Margot. Etheline is elegant and intelligent, always pushing her children to be more driven and successful. Etheline often wears hues of cream and light pink while wearing her hair in a bun secured with a pencil.

Royal Tenenbaum (played by Gene Hackman) is the titular father from Wes Anderson’s film The Royal Tenenbaums. Estranged from his ex-wife Etheline and distanced from his genius children Richie, Chas, and Margot, Royal fakes stomach cancer in a desperate bid to regain their favor and love. Royal is a larger-than-life personality who wears slick suits and smokes using a cigarette holder while gambling, shoplifting, and getting to know his family again.
Arthur Ketch from Supernatural
Arthur Ketch (played by David Haydn-Jones) is a British Man of Letters when he first meets Sam and Dean, and is actively working against them and all of the other American hunters. However, over time, Arthur becomes an ally of the Winchesters, even entering into a romantic relationship with Sam and Dean’s mother, Mary. Arthur often wears well tailored suits, which sets him apart from the American Men of Letters he later associates with.
Bernard Lowe from HBO’s Westworld
In HBO’s Westworld, Bernard Lowe (played by Jeffrey Wright) is the head of Devos’ programming department and has a lot of involvement with the hosts, especially Dolores. Later in the series, Bernard discovers that he is himself a host and his entire world view is altered. Bernard typically wears sweater vests and dark suits, and is usually wearing his dark framed glasses.
Teddy Flood from HBO’s Westworld
In HBO’s Westworld, Teddy Flood (played by James Marsden) is a host and Dolores’ main love interest early in the series. His character will often intervene to protect her from guests will nefarious intent, including the Man in Black. Teddy is portrayed mostly as an archetypal chivalrous western hero until Dolores alters his personality to further her own gains, leading to an existential crisis. Teddy’s costume includes a brown cowboy hat, leather holster, and grey suit.
Space Ghost from Space Ghost Coast to Coast
Space Ghost premiered in 1966 as a superhero fighting villains in outer space. The late night talk show spin-off Space Ghost Coast to Coast launched in the mid-90s and focused on Space Ghost’s interviews with other “superheroes.” While Space Ghost may have been a good crime fighter, his hosting abilities left a little to be desired, leading to awkward and often hilarious interviews. To make your Space Ghost costume, you might want to flex some of your creativity by painting his logo onto your white suit. And don’t forget your index cards, so you can ask insightful questions of your interview subjects.
Eileen Leahy from Supernatural
Eileen Leahy (played by Shoshannah Stern) is a hunter on the CW show Supernatural. As a child, she lost her hearing to the same Banshee that killed her parents, which spurred her to become a hunter. Eileen is killed by a hellhound, but Sam is able to resurrect her with one of Rowena‘s spells in season 15. Eileen is tough and confident, with a caring nature.
D.W. Read from Arthur
Dora Winifred, better known by the abbreviation “D.W.” is Arthur‘s younger sister on the PBS show Arthur, based on the books by Marc Brown. D.W. is in preschool, and enjoys watching Mary Moo Cow and listening to Crazy Bus, which irritates her older brother. D.W.’s typical outfit consists of a pink sleeveless dress over a long sleeved white shirt.
Charlotte Hale from HBO’s Westworld
Charlotte Hale (played by Tessa Thompson) is a ruthless member of the Delos Board of Directors and attempts to overthrow Robert Ford by proving that his hosts have become unstable. Charlotte works closely with Bernard and trusts him in the aftermath of the gala until she discovers that he himself is a host, at which point she turns on him in pursuit of her ultimate goals. Charlotte dresses well and can often be seen adjusting her clothing or hair to maintain her carefully manicured appearance. Following the events of the gala, she dresses down to fit into Westworld and avoid detection by Dolores and her followers.
