Trevor from Hilda
Trevor (voiced by Reece Pockney) is a boy who lives in Trolberg, the town where the titular Hilda moves with her family in the graphic novel and animated series that bear her name. Trevor is rude and sometimes unkind, stopping at nothing to prove he saw a talking raven when his friends don’t believe him. He wears an orange striped hat and orange scarf, with a purple-ish grey jacket, black pants, and grey boots. You can choose either a jacket or a sweatshirt for your costume, depending on your preference. Look for a hat with ear flaps and pom pom details in shades of orange, even if it isn’t a perfect match for Trevor’s.
Norman Osborn from Spider Man (No Way Home)
Norman Osborn, otherwise known as the Green Goblin is a character from the film Spider-Man: No Way Home, and is played by Willem Dafoe. This film follows Spider-Man as his identity is now revealed and he discovers what it really means to be Spider-Man after a spell goes wrong and new worlds start to appear.
Norman Osborn wears a green plaid coat, a purple hoodie, blue jeans, and boots. To recreate this, take a green plaid jacket in a larger size to give the oversized look, a purple hoodie underneath that you can distress for more authenticity with sandpaper sponges, and a black t-shirt underneath to cover where the holes are. Pair this with a muted blue jean that you can also distress, along with a pair of laced boots.
Monica from Hooky
Monica is a main character in the web comic Hooky. She is a princess who becomes close friends with Dorian and Daniela. Monica is adventurous and confident, and enjoys reading. She has long pink hair and freckles that become more prominent in the sun. Monica favors the color yellow and can often be found wearing a yellow patterned dress over a white puff-sleeved blouse. Accessorize your chosen outfit with a cute belt and brown boots, as well as a petticoat under your dress to make sure it puffs out in true princess fashion.
Spider-Punk from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
Spider-Punk is a character voiced by Daniel Kaluuya from the movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. In this new animated film, we follow Brooklyn’s friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man as he travels across the Multiverse. One of the characters we meet is Spider-Punk, an alternate version of Hobie Brown and Spider-Man.
To re-create this alternative look, start with the classic Spider-Man costume. Next, layer the base costume pieces like the purple plaid pants, black leather vest, red boots with blue laces, and optionally a blue tee. There are many detail pieces you can add on top of this like different themed buttons/ pins including the British flag, metal spike studs to the vest, a studded belt, choker, and wristbands. Finally, add a taller variety of metal spike studs to the top of the head on the Spider-Man costume.
Anarky
Anarky, or Lonnie Machin, is a DC comics character. He is a teenage prodigy who is believed to be the son of the Joker. He believes in anarchism and creates and invents different gadgets to undermine the government in an attempt to improve society.
Typically you’ll see him wearing some sort of white or gold mask. A look of his that can be easily recreated is this one that consists of the mask, a black hoodie with the red ‘A’ symbol which can be done with red fabric paint, black gloves, cameo patterned pants, and black combat boots.
Loki from Loki (Season 2)
Loki is the main character of the popular Marvel series and we continue to follow this god of mischief through the new season 2. Before in season 1, he wears the iconic TVA uniform, but in this season he wears a brown coat, blue collared shirt, a brown knitted tie, brown pants, and brown boots.
While last season he wears a uniform like the other workers and Mobius, this season he becomes more antiquated and independent while maintaining a similar style beside Mobius who still wears his uniform while at the TVA.
Punchline
Alexis Kaye, known by her supervillain moniker Punchline, first encountered the Joker when he took over a TV station where she was as part of a field trip. Soon after, she became obsessed with him and his crimes, even starting a podcast dedicated to them. She is brutal and sadistic, and works alongside the Joker after his falling out with Harley Quinn. Punchline has long black hair with bangs that she wears in a high ponytail. Her villain uniform consists of a black dress over a purple shirt and tights. She also wears black gloves and thigh-high boots. Her dress is sometimes fitted, and sometimes flares out more from the hips, so choose the silhouette you prefer. Finish your costume with a blue belt and some sparsely applied clown makeup. You can also add colorful details to your gloves, boots, and wig using neon paint markers.
Daniela Wytte from Hooky
Daniela Wytte, more often called Dani, is the female protagonist of the webtoon Hooky. She studies magic alongside her twin brother Dorian. Dani has black hair and often dresses in black and white, which matches her brother’s attire. To recreate her look, you can wear a black t-shirt style dress with pinstriped leggings, and combat boots. Accessorize with a white fake collar, black tie, and an oversized white hair bow. You could also opt for black tights, black ankle boots, and a black long-sleeved dress with a white collar. Either way, choose a black wig with bangs and trim to your desired length.
Princess Jupiter from Sailor Moon
Jupiter has a slightly different way she wears her hair in her princess dress, as she normally wears a hair tie with plastic balls, but in this form she has a green ribbon worn with a pink rose to tie up her hair.
The green ribbon continues into her outfit as well, with one worn around her neck, further accented by a green teardrop necklace. She also has the symbol for Jupiter on her forehead in green, instead of her usual tiara. Her princess dress is a multi-tone green v-neck sleeveless dress with ribbon straps, and an open slit in the skirt with a sheer ruffle trim down the leg.
Princess Saturn from Sailor Moon
In Sailor Moon, Saturn looks as she usually does in the series in this illustration, but has the symbol of saturn on her forehead instead of her usual tiara, a deep purple ribbon around her neck, and a matching teardrop necklace.
She is one of two scouts in this set that wear a pair of long gloves to match her dress, the other being Pluto, and her dress, despite being dark purple instead, is styled very similarly as well. She only has one strap on either side of her dress top, but has a pointed midsection on the bodice, and like the other outer scouts, it is open on the sides of the skirt to reveal a lighter purple underskirt that flares out to the ground.
