Makima from Chainsaw Man

Makima is a character of the best-selling manga, Chainsaw Man. Illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the series was serialized in the weekly Shonen Jump magazine for two years until December 2020. Chainsaw Man takes place in a world where devils are born from fears. Maikma is the head of Public Safety Divison 4. Cunning and intelligent, she manipulates Denji by using his attraction to guarantee his obedience. Later on, she is revealed to be the Control Devil, who embodies the fear of domination. Enamored by Chainsaw Man, she wants to create a world without suffering. She tries to break Denji down by causing the misfortunes in his life, but he defeats her. She gets reborn as a child called Nayuta, and in his care, she will be raised as a better person.

Mark Grayson

Mark Grayson, aka Invincible, is the protagonist of the eponymous comic book series and animated show. He is the son of Nolan Grayson, aka Omni-Man, and Debbie Grayson. Due his father’s lineage, Mark is half-Viltrumite, and thus possesses similar powers. This includes super speed, super strength, and the ability to fly. As he steps into his new identity as Invincible, Mark must balance his normal teenage life with protecting the Earth. Walking Dead star Steven Yeun voices Mark in the show, now streaming on Amazon Prime.

Rex Splode from Invincible

Rex Splode is a character in the animated and comic book series, Invincible. As a child, he was taken away and enhanced with the ability to change molecules to make any object explosive. In the beginning, he is Atom Eve’s boyfriend, but it’s an unhappy relationship. She breaks up with Rex after she catches him cheating with DupliKate. He has a pretty intolerable personality, and rightfully gets put in his place by Monster Girl. However, they make amends and form a friendship, to which Robot thinks they are flirting — thus using Rex’s DNA to emulate a human form. Creepy. Jason Mantzoukas, who has made appearances in various NBC sitcoms such as The Good Place, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Parks and Rec, voices this character in the show now streaming on Amazon Prime.

April is one of the main characters from the comic series Lumberjanes.  Best friends with Jo, April is incredibly headstrong and a big fan of making puns.  She carries a diary with her everywhere so she can scribble notes and sketch the creatures she encounters.  April wears dark cropped leggings under pink shorts with a light green blouse and purple jacket, making for a fun and colorful costume.

Cecil Steadman from Invincible

Cecil Steadman is a character in the animated and comic book series, Invincible. He is a government agent in charge of the Global Defense Agency. Upon the slaughter of the Guardians, he attempts to find the killer with the help of Damien Darkblood. When it’s clear Omni-Man is the culprit, he teams up with Debbie to spy on him and Mark. They learn Omni Man wants to conquer Earth, and Cecil says Mark may be their only hope to stop him. Famous actor Walton Goggins voices Cecil in the show now streaming on Amazon Prime.

Monster Girl from Invincible

Monster Girl is a character in the comic book and animated series, Invincible. She’s hand-picked by Robot to be part of the new Guardians of the Globe. Her ability is monstrous transformation, giving her incredible brute strength. However, this power is a curse; every time she uses it, she becomes a year younger. After Rex teases her appearance, she transforms into a giant green monster and rightfully beats him up. We discover Robot has been closely studying her physiology. Samantha Eve Wilkins, aka Atom Eve, is a character in the comic book and animated series, Invincible. She is a member of the Teen Team. Her ability is atom manipulation, which manifests in telekinesis, regeneration, and flight. Like Mark, she balances being a superhero with a normal life, and she attends high school as Eve Wilkins. To the disappointment of her parents, Eve rejects college and instead leaves to use her powers to help the world. Molly is one of the main characters of the comic series Lumberjanes. Molly is a skilled archer who also enjoys knitting, mythology, and puzzles.  Bubbles, the raccoon that sleeps on Molly’s head is a friend she made the first day of camp.  Molly is Mal’s girlfriend, and their personalities often offset one another.  Molly wears cargo shorts and a two-tone green shirt and styles her blonde hair in a braid.  Rather than have a wild animal sleep on your head, a raccoon cap can achieve a similar effect.
