Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinavitch (played by Noah Wyle) is a Senior Attending Physician at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center.  Working in the emergency department, also known as The Pitt, Dr. Robby is a dedicated physician who believes patients should come before the hospital's bottom line, which often leads to tension with Gloria Underwood, the hospital's Chief Medical Officer.  Dr. Robby oversees a team of residents and interns, including Dr. Trinity Santos, Dr. Melissa King, Dr. Dennis Whitaker, and Dr. Victoria Javadi who all start the same day.  Dr. Robby wears cargo pants, a black scrub top, and a Beers of the Burgh Festival zip up hoodie.
