Haddie Kaur from Dead by Daylight
In Dead by Daylight, Haddie Kaur is a paranormal podcaster / investigator who has visited several sites that were related to the Entity of Dead by Daylight. Many different versions of her have appeared in the lore tomes of Dead by Daylight, covering her close encounters with the monsters of the Entity. Her style reflects her colorful yet practical personality, her white hair streak covered by blue dye, and loud patterned shirts with worn jeans giving way to a theatrical facade hiding how she is haunted by her past.
The Dredge from Dead by Daylight
In Dead by Daylight, The Dredge is the negative thoughts of every member of a 1960s American cult, consolidated into one Boogeyman-esque shadow monster. The Dredge, being non-human and a unique creation of Dead by Daylight, will be difficult to find parts for, but you can adapt some masks by cutting and reassembling them or by building them from scratch if you have the time/skill to do so.
Spamton G. Spamton from Deltarune
Spamton G. Spamton is a darkner in Deltarune. First encountered in Cyber City as a miniboss, Spamton can also be a bonus boss like Jevil, depending on the decisions made by the player. Spamton has a look based around that of traditional ventriloquist dummies, with slicked-back black hair, white skin, an unnerving smile, and red cheek circles. To recreate this look, you can use a white hooded bodysuit as your base. Use fabric glue to attach red felt circles and then draw the smile on with a fabric marker. Then, throw on your wig, black shirt and pants, and bi-colored sunglasses overtop and you’ll be ready to terrorize Cyber World.
Abigail from Stardew Valley
Abigail is a character from Stardew Valley. Along with Penny and others, Abigail is one of twelve characters available to marry in the game. She has a penchant for the macabre and is a drummer in a band. Abigail has purple hair and wears goth-inspired clothing in dark colors including a choker. For her script in the game, Abigail accepts gifts as if they are food, including amethysts, which she eats despite them being gems. You can add a little extra humor to your costume by carrying purple rock candy with you.
Flint from Mother 3
Flint is the lead protagonist in Mother 3. The father of Lucas and Claus, Flint sets off on a mission to seek revenge for his wife’s death. Flint’s costume is inspired by stereotypical cowboy attire, including a brown cowboy hat and red bandana. Huang Lee from Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
Huang Lee is the main protagonist of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. The spoiled son of a Triad leader, Huang finds himself embroiled in a mystery as he tries to recover a stolen family heirloom and unearth the person responsible for his father’s murder. Huang has short-cropped hair and some scattered facial hair including a soul patch, which you can mimic with a little eyebrow pencil if you aren’t interested in growing your own. He wears blue jeans, green sneakers, and a white t-shirt. Though the red button-down he wears unbuttoned is sometimes mistaken for the lining of his jacket, it’s actually a separate piece.
Claude from Grand Theft Auto III
Claude is the silent protagonist of the Grand Theft Auto III game. Also a minor character in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Claude is a mysterious criminal with vague origins. By the end of the game, Claude is one of the most notorious men in Liberty City, with many gangs and other criminals hoping to take him out. Claude has dark hair and a barely-there five-o’clock shadow. If you don’t want to grow one of your own, a little eyebrow pencil dotted over your chin and cheeks can achieve a similar effect. Claude’s main costume consists of green cargo pants, a bomber jacket with bronze zippers, black t-shirt, and a pair of blue sneakers.
Johnny Thunder
Johnny Thunder is the main protagonist of LEGO Adventurers. Known also as Sam Grant or Joe Freeman, he is an Australian adventurer and passionate archeologist who travels with Dr. Kilroy and Pippin Reed. The three go around discovering treasures while outwitting bad guys. After finding these treasures, Johnny donates them to museums. His archenemy is Sam Sinister, steals instead. Johnny appears in multiple LEGO video games, Studios sets, and even the LEGO movie. This is his outfit in his appearances in the Egypt, Jungle, and Dino Island themes.
Ranni the Snow Witch from Elden Ring
Ranni, also known as the Snow Witch (voiced by Aimee-Ffion Edwards) is a character in the Elden Ring video game. Ranni provides the Tarnished with the Spirit Calling Bell after receiving the Torrent from Melina. Ranni’s costume includes an oversized hat that can be difficult to pin down unless you purchase a pre-made cosplay set. If you’re looking to build your own costume, you may need to scale down the hat size or scour handmade shops on Etsy. Either way, adorning the brim with an adjustable silver headpiece can help it look more like Ranni’s from the game. Whether you decide to make your own costume with different pieces such as a medieval-inspired dress and faux-fur trimmed cloak or purchase a full set pre-made, you can always take your outfit to the next level by adding pale blue body paint and a matching wig. Likewise, if you’d like to create extra arms–Ranni has four–you can follow a tutorial like this one if you’re feeling a bit crafty.
