Joseph Seed is an antagonist in the video game, Far Cry 5. Also known as "The Father," Joseph is a merciless psychopath at the helm of the extremist cult. He leads this cult with his brothers, John and Jacob, and his sister, Faith. Through coercion and violence, Joseph recruits residents of Hope County into his organization. He sincerely believes he was chosen by a higher power to lead people during the apocalypse, and his goal is to protect his "children" and lead them to "Eden's Gate."
