General Leia Organa from The Force Awakens
In Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it’s been 30 years since Return of the Jedis, and Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher) is now a battle weary general for the Resistance. Leia is also heartbroken, having lost Ben Solo / Kylo Ren, who she mothered with Han Solo, to the dark side. A far cry from her Princess Leia costumes, she now wears a jumpsuit that’s much more practical for battle.
Magenta from Rocky Horror Picture Show
In The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Magenta (Patricia Quinn) is a domestic who is in attendance at the Annual Transylvanian Convention, along with her brother and servant Riff Raff, the host Dr. Frank-N-Furter, and groupie Columbia.
Joe Gardner from Soul
In Pixar’s Soul, Joe Gardner (voiced by Jamie Foxx) is a middle school music teacher who has a lifelong dream of being an onstage jazz performer. It looks like he’ll finally get his big break when he impresses other jazz musicians as an opening act when he has an accident, which causes his soul to separate from his body to get transported to the You Seminar, where he must help souls develop passions before being transported to newborns. Joe’s costume is drab and not too flashy, although his stylish hat hints at the passion brimming underneath.
Barbie from Toy Story
In Toy Story 3, Barbie is a pretty blonde doll who ends up being donated to Sunnyside Daycare with Andy’s toys, including Woody. There she meets Ken, who seems to be her the boy of her dreams. Barbie’s outfit is based on an 80s look, when aerobics, leg warmers, and bright fluorescent colors were in.
Tommy Jarvis from Friday the 13th Part VI
In Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives, Tommy Jarvis (Thom Mathews) has finally stabilized after killing Jason Voorhees as a boy and being institutionalized over the trauma causing him to assume Jason’s hockey mask. When Tommy goes to view Jason’s corpses to get closure, lightning accidentally strikes the body, re-animating him as a zombie with supernatural powers.

In the Japanese animated romantic fantasy film Weathering With You, Hina Amano is a cheerful and strong-willed girl who has the ability to stop the rain and clear the skies, earning her the nickname “100% Sunshine Girl”. Hina has fair skin and wears her long black hair in two low ponytails and bangs.
Landlady from Kung Fu Hustle
In Kung Fu Hustle, in a town full of crooks and thugs, the toughest person on the block is the middle-aged, chain-smoking Landlady (Yuen Qiu) of Pig Sty Alley. The landlady rules the slum with an iron fist, and all feel her wrath from her husband to the residents to encroaching members of the Axe Gang. Her powerful weapons include her Lion’s Roar technique, ability to run like the Roadrunner, and red slippers.

In Little Nicky, Nicky (Adam Sandler) is one of Satan’s three sons along with Adrian and Cassius, who bully him. Cassius has even given Nikcy a disfigured jaw and speech impediment when he hit him in the face with a shovel. When his older brothers attempt to take over Earth, Satan sends Nicky, armed with a silver flask that traps whoever drinks from it inside, to stop them and save his father.

In the stoner comedy Half Baked, Brian (Jim Breuer) is friends with Thurgood Jenkins. He likes to dress head to toe in rainbow tie dye. When Brian gets fired from his job at the record shop, he does the sensible thing by grabbing his briefcase and walking off in into the sunset.
