Elise from Bungo Stray Dogs
Elise (voiced in Japanese by Sora Amamiya and in English by Carrie Keranen) is a side character from the anime/manga Bungo Stray Dogs.
While appearing as a young girl, Elise is not actually human, and simply the manifestation of Mori’s ability (concerningly). Despite being not human, she does act like a spoiled and bratty child more often than not, likely in response to being emulated how she is. She does have an alternate mode where she goes into full attack, with a different outfit, and lack of any emotion.
Elise looks very much like a small doll, with long wavy golden hair and blue eyes, and a red bow clip in her hair. She wears a red dress with a white peter pan collar tied by a pink ribbon, black and grey striped tights, and red Mary Janes to match the rest of her outfit.
Hoodlum from Akudama Drive
Hoodlum (voiced in Japanese by Subaru Kimura and in English by Kellen Goff) is one of the main characters in the anime Akudama Drive.
While he is classified in the same tier as the other akudama, he has the least amount of years on his sentence, only being a petty thief. He likes to brag otherwise making it seem like he’s got more crimes under his belt, which gets Brawler‘s very enthusiastic attention, much to his excitement.
Hoodlum’s got a light green pompadour hairstyle that matches his eyes, and he wears a pair of round orange lens sunglasses with them. He wears the same detonation choker as the rest of them, but also has two bar and circle gold necklaces, and a silver crawler ear cuff earring. The rest of his outfit is rather simple while being colorfully flashy, with a bright yellow button up shirt and matching belt, and a purple two piece suit with red striping up it. He finishes it off with a pair of tan loafers.
Reki Kyan from Sk8 the Infinity
Reki (voiced in Japanese by Tasuku Hatanaka and in English by Matt Shipman) is one of the main characters in the anime Sk8 the Infinity.
While already a highly invested skateboarder, Reki drags the new kid (and soon to be best friend) at his school (Langa) to S skating meets, and even helps him to learn how to transfer his snowboarding skills into being a skateboarder. Reki is also very creative, and likes to design art pieces and build homemade skateboards, which eventually leads to Langa having a custom built one from him.
Reki has floppy spiky red hair worn with a blue wide headband, and has amber-orange eyes. He dresses pretty street casual for the most part, with a yellow hoodie with a design matching his board, a red wristband, black pants, and blue shoes with yellow detailing. He sometimes will also wear a black jacket over top of the hoodie, and red and black gloves, when skating.
Suga from BTS in “Butter” (Cooler Remix)
Suga is a member of the popular K-Pop band BTS. He raps in the third verse of the song, and it’s smooth like butter. This is his outfit in the music video for their song, “Butter” (Cooler Remix). All the members wear athleisure, such as tracksuits and oversized t-shirts, and accessorize with necklaces. Order a size or two up in the t-shirt so it’s baggy.
Nimona
Nimona is the eponymous protagonist of Nimona, a fantasy graphic novel written by ND Stevenson (who you may recall as the creator of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.) Nimona is a young, feisty shapeshifter who allies with villain Ballister Blackheart to destroy the Institute. Despite his strong code of ethics, Nimona will do anything to come out victorious. An animated Netflix adaptation will debut in the summer of 2023.
Brawler from Akudama Drive
Brawler (voiced in Japanese by Shunsuke Takeuchi and in English by Zeno Robinson) is one of the main characters in the anime Akudama Drive.
He is very excited about seeking out strong opponents and causes a large amount of chaos and destruction in the quest to find them. During the course of the series he ends up becoming close with Hoodlum, and gets really excited hyping up how impressive he makes himself sound (despite it being a massive lie).
Brawler has deep red dreads and golden brown eyes, with metal bead detailing in his hair and pointed eyeliner on his eyes. He wears a set of necklaces in tandem with the detonation necklace, but aside from his hair beads that’s the only accessories he has. He wears a green motorcycle jacket with an orange under layer, and a pair of blue jeans with black chaps over them. The final part of his outfit is a pair of black boots.
Rayman
Rayman is the titular protagonist of Rayman, a side scrolling platform game. Made by Ubi Soft, the first installment was released in 1995 for the Atari Jaguar, Sega Saturn, & Sony Playstation. As Rayman, players must travel through six worlds to free all the caged Electoons. Only then will Rayman confront his enemy, Mr. Dark. This guide includes both a DIY or a simpler way by purchasing a pre-designed cosplay hoodie.
Lionel Toussaint from Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery
Lionel Toussaint (played by Leslie Odom, Jr.) is a high-ranking employee of Miles Bron‘s successful company in the film Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. Lionel has reservations about Miles’ latest green energy initiative, which he shares with Claire Debella. On the trek to Miles’ private island, Lionel wears brightly colored paints and a muted tunic with wooden beads. For dinner, he wears a snazzy green suit with a wishbone brooch and black hat.
Kaname “Sniper” Hagiri from Yu Yu Hakusho
Kaname Hagiri (voiced by Eiji Sekiguchi and Aaron Hatch) is an antagonist from the Yu Yu Hakusho anime series. Called “Sniper,” Kaname is a former member of the Sensui Seven who often uses small dice as a weapon. Kaname has black hair and is most often shown wearing a baggy t-shirt and grey jeans under a red leather jacket. If a leather motorcycle jacket is out of your budget, consider using a cheaper bomber jacket in its place. Finish the look with fingerless gloves and a set of microdice to wield against your enemies.
J-Hope from BTS in “Butter” (Cooler Remix)
J-Hope is a member of the popular K-Pop band BTS. This is his outfit in the music video for their song, “Butter” (Cooler Remix). All the members wear athleisure, such as tracksuits and oversized t-shirts, and accessorize with necklaces. J-Hope wears a color palette of greens and yellows. For more accuracy, use a green fabric marker under the brim of the bucket hat and affix a similar patch.
