Tyler Galpin from Wednesday
Tyler Galpin is a character in Netflix’s Wednesday. He is a boy-next-door type “normie.” His father is the sheriff, though their relationship is tense due to his mother’s death. We first meet Tyler at the Weathervane Cafe where he works as a barista. Wednesday helps him fix the espresso machine in exchange for help escaping Nevermore. When she decides to stay and investigate the murders in Jericho, Tyler tries to woo Wednesday by accompanying her to the Rave’N and planning a date night in Crackstone’s crypt.
Cleo de Nile
Cleo de Nile is a character in the Monster High franchise. She is the daughter of mummy pharaoh, Ramses de Nile, with inspiration from Cleopatra. While Cleo may look like a teen, she’s actually thousands of years old! As captain of the fearleading squad, she’s the queen of the Monster High social scene. She’s in a relationship with Deuce Gorgon. With dolls, cartoons, and a live action movie, Cleo has many different styles. Therefore, our costume guide features a variety of pieces to assemble a unique outfit. Her main colors are blue, teal, and gold. Hallmarks of her style include bandages, winged eyeliner, red lipstick, and lots of gold jewelry.
Ajax in Wednesday
Ajax Petropolus (Georgie Farmer) is a minor character in Netflix’s Wednesday. He is a Gorgon (like Medusa) and attends Nevermore Academy as a student. Shy and awkward, Ajax is anxious to make eye contact with anybody. Enid has a huge crush on him, but he is oblivious to her flirting. Sometimes he hangs out with Xavier or just lingers in the background. Use the fabric paint to make the stripes on the blazer.
Marlene from The Last of Us
Marlene (played by Merle Dandridge, the only actor to reprise her role from the original game) is the leader of the Boston Fireflies in the HBO video game adaptation The Last of Us. At the start of the series, Ellie is in the custody of the Fireflies under Marlene’s command, but she asks Joel and Theresa to take custody of her after a deal gone wrong leaves her injured. Marlene’s clothing is indicative of her status as a militia leader. She wears sturdy boots and tactical pants with a form-fitting tank top layered over a utilitarian sports bra.
Ichiyō Higuchi from Bungo Stray Dogs
Ichiyō Higuchi (voiced in Japanese by Asami Seto and in English by Carrie Keranen) is from the anime/manga Bungo Stray Dogs.
She is a part of the Port Mafia, with her usual duties being Akutagawa‘s bodyguard and aid. While tending to get stressed out due to the strenuous nature of her job, Higuchi is also a dual-wielding sharp-shooter and rather good at holding her own in combat.
Higuchi has golden blonde hair that’s usually tied up in a bun with loose bangs and side pieces, and her eyes are reddish-brown. She wears a semi-formal outfit to aid in movement while working, including a white button up-shirt, a pair of black slacks with a matching suit jacket, sheer socks, and black loafers, with a pair of sunglasses.
Seymour Krelborn from Little Shop of Horrors
Seymour Krelborn is the main character of Little Shop of Horrors. He works at the flower shop on Skidrow owned by Mr. Mushnik. Shy and meek, he has a huge crush on Audrey. One day, suddenly (pun intended) Seymour finds a strange plant and names it Audrey II. But the plant needs human blood to grow, putting Seymour in an awful dilema. Rick Moranis portrays Seymour in the 1986 movie adaptation.
Phinks Magcub from Hunter x Hunter
Phinks Magcub (voiced in Japanese by Kenichirō Ōhashi and in English by David Vincent) is part of the Phantom Troupe in the anime/manga HunterxHunter.
He’s one of the strongest members of the troupe, with a nen ability centered around extremely strong punch throwing. Phinks is one of the original founding members of the troupe, having known Chrollo since they were kids.
He has dirty blonde hair, often worn pulled back tightly, and speck-like eyes. While he does have another outfit that he’s seen wearing, the one we mostly see him in is this tracksuit-like one. A matching emerald green tracksuit with white and red detailing, and grey-blue detailed sneakers to top it all off.
Kathleen from The Last of Us (HBO)
Kathleen Coghlan (played by Melanie Lynskey) is the leader of a rogue group of survivors in HBO’s The Last of Us. After taking over the QZ and Fedra in Kansas City, Kathleen and her followers, including Perry, seek to hunt down a man responsible for reporting on her brother to the military police force they’ve since overthrown. Kathleen has long, dark hair that she pulls back, and wears rugged jeans, sturdy boots, and a grey military jacket over a beige collared shirt. She straps her handgun to her left thigh with a black holster.
Clover Field from 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors
Clover Field (voiced in Japanese by Yukari Tamura and in English by Wendee Lee) is one of the semi-main characters in the first two games in the Zero Escape series. For this piece, I’m covering her look from the first game, 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors.
Clover has the 4th watch during the second Nonary Game (the first being prior to the start of the series) and is the younger sister of one of the other players, Snake. While usually cute and bouncy, she’s also prone to extreme violence when people she cares about are hurt or killed.
She has extremely voluminous pinky-red pigtails and turquoise eyes, accentuated by little face gems underneath the left one, and she wears a pair of snow leopard printed earmuffs. The outfit that Clover wears is very akin to a schoolgirl type look, with a white shirt, a red and green plaid bow, and a matching skirt. She wears an oversized black jacket with hot pink detailing and puffs as the sweater pulls. Clover’s shoes are a pair of hot pink heels, worn over black socks, and she wears very fluffy legwarmers with pink puffs that match the sweater attached to them.
Wendy from Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus
Wendy (voiced in Japanese by Mayumi Shintani and in English by Rachel Robinson) is one of the secondary main characters in the Book of Circus arc in the anime/manga Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler.
She is one of the first-string members of Noah’s Ark Circus, and works in tandem with Peter in a trapeze artist act. While she looks like a young child, we do not know her actual age, as she is severely stunted in growth and has looked like this for a very long time. She tends to be more soft-spoken and acts in a way that indicates her true age.
Wendy has mid-tone long brown hair, tied up in two large buns almost to the side of her head, and has deep brown eyes highlighted by long false eyelashes and three magenta diamonds under her eye. She wears a child-like pink dress, accented with a large amount of ruffles and stripes, a crown headpiece, black heel-less tights with a pompom on the end, and ribbons on her arms.
