Jenna Ortega from Taste
Sabrina Carpenter continues to impress and surprise fans online with her music videos. The most recent is for her song Taste, and stars herself alongside Jenna Ortega. They both humorously target each other in bloody fashion throughout the video. This would be a perfect duo costume for two friends with a few different looks to choose from.
Starting with her funeral look, wear a long sleeve black dress, a black fascinator hat in your hair, and black heels. For the look with the chainsaw, start with a black sleeveless dress and black heels. Wear a white tank top with a sweetheart neckline under the dress, with the top peeking over the neckline. Carry a costume prop chainsaw which can be painted by first using any white paint as a base on the part you hold. Then dry brush or completely paint over it with a cool pink paint. On the saw portion, paint with red. For her nurse look, wear a short, off-the-shoulder white dress, a white nurse hat, and a white eye patch. Add the Red Cross with paint or a marker, or red felt and glue. Wear this with a matching red lipstick.

Sabrina Carpenter from Taste
Sabrina Carpenter continues to impress and surprise fans online with her music videos. The most recent is for her song Taste, and stars herself alongside Jenna Ortega. They both humorously target each other in bloody fashion throughout the video. This would be a perfect duo costume for two friends with a few different looks to choose from.
Starting with her funeral look, wear an off-the-shoulder black gown with black heels. For the blue gingham look, wear a blue gingham top and matching blue denim pants with white heels and a silver heart necklace. To create the bloodied spot on the top, slowly layer red paint and as you get towards the center, mix in more black. Water down the paint to eliminate brush strokes or dab on with paper towels. Finally, for the fence-post costume, you could either go with a bloody spot or two like the previous look, or actually attach posts to your front. Start with a blue pin-up style blouse, black cropped pants, a black wide waist belt, and black heels. To wear this without making the posts, simply follow the same steps to paint two spots like the previous costume. To make the posts, cut out two of the same shape out of white foam. These will be attached at the bottom of them to a nylon adjustable belt that you will wear backwards, putting the buckle at the center of your back. Wear a black camisole under this because you will cut a hole in the blue shirt. Cut the hole to the size of the posts on your stomach, which you’ll paint with red acrylic paint, going darker as you get closer to the stomach. Paint around the hole you cut in the shirt, also getting close to black at the center. Layer the blue shirt over the camisole and belt/ posts.

Satine from Moulin Rogue

Moulin Rogue is a flashy and over-the-top musical film (in the best way) and features its own takes on popular songs, including those of the early 2000s while following the love story between Satine and Christian.
To dress like Satine in her diamond costume, take a silver corset as the base for the top. Overlay a scalloped silver lace and mesh fabric over it entirely. Create the collar and half skirt, use faux black velvet fabric and silver trims and appliqués, or even rhinestones (silver and/ or AB). Attach fringe silver trim to the bottom front of the corset. Pair this with long black opera gloves, black fishnet tights, black vintage dance heels, and a black top hat that you can also add silver trim to. For her red gown, take a red gown with a corset waist and wear with the long black opera gloves.
