While she matches Harley’s sassy and headstrong personality, she keeps a more level head and knows how to rein Harley in. SCP 1471-A from SCP Containment Breach
SCP 1471 is a mysterious app that, once downloaded, eventually leads to the user seeing SCP 1471-A, a humanoid wolf creature with a skull for a face and creepy, milk-white eyes. While SCP 1471-A’s true intentions are not fully understood, it is generally considered best to avoid it in the game SCP: Containment Breach. To create an SCP 1471-A costume, you will need an animal skull mask, tattered wolf ears attached to a messy black wig, and wolf-like hands and feet. While the game version shows SCP 1471-A dressed in black shirt and pants, there are many interpretations of its clothing, though its costume almost always includes rope tied around the waist like a belt.
Hannah Montana
Hannah Montana was the celebrity persona/alter ego of pop singer Miley Cyrus. She had her own show on Disney Channel, which revolved around Miley Stewart, a normal high schooler, by day and Hannah, a teen pop sensation, by night. Some of her famous songs include “Best of Both Worlds,” “Rock Star,” and “Nobody’s Perfect.” Her massive success resulted in two movies: one following her concert and the other as a conclusion to the show. She is known for her signature blonde wig. Later on, she made music as both Hannah and Miley, before just going by Miley. This makes a great throwback or Disney nostalgia costume.
Soul of Cinder from Dark Souls
In Dark Souls, the Soul of Cinder is a being made up of all previous lords of Cinder. This not only makes it incredibly hard to beat but also terrifying to behold. Getting the exact look takes some painting skill and possibly wearable pyrotechnics (which we really don’t recommend). But we’ve found pieces that will get you close!
To start you’ll want a black compression shirt and compression pants. They’re tight fitting and breathable so your clothes won’t get twisted up under your armor and you won’t overheat too quickly. On top of that you’ll want a set of knight’s armor, though we recommend plastic over metal for ease of movement. You’ll also need a set of swords to deal with the challengers you’re sure to encounter. If you’ve got a bit of extra money to spend you can get a Cinder replica helmet. They aren’t easily affordable, however, and with some paint a standard knight helmet should do the trick. And finally a can of chalky gray spray paint topped with an oxidizing effects paint kit should help give your armor the eternally burned look Soul of Cinder is known for.
Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog
Tails is Sonic the Hedgehog’s faithful sidekick. The two have been through so many adventures together that listing them all here – or the voice actors, artists, and writers involved – would create a book! Needless to say Tails always has Sonic’s back and this costume will always have yours!
There are a few ways to cosplay as Tails. The first uses body paint and clothes you might find in your closet to create the color of Tails’ fur. The other uses an orange body suit and white felt for Tails’ body and face paint to create his orange and white facial features.
Both looks require white gloves, slouchy white socks, red and a white sneakers, and – of course – two tails in addition to an orange wig and fox ears.
TF2 Demoman
Demoman (voiced by Gary Schwartz) is a Scottish demolitions expert, and one of the most versatile characters in Team Fortress 2. Typically armed with his grenade launcher and stickybomb launcher, Demoman can effectively stave off enemies, while he is also very proficient in melee combat. The Demoman’s rockets look a lot like large the foam ammo often used in toy missile launchers, which can make them a fun addition to your costume.
Catherine Parr from SIX! The Musical
Catherine Parr is a historical figure and character in SIX the Musical. She is the sixth and final wife of Henry VIII who survived. Her song “I Don’t Need Your Love” is a R&B ballad about having to abandon her feelings for Thomas Seymour to dutifully accept Henry’s proposal. It turns into an anthem for how she doesn’t need either of their love. In the show’s plot, Parr is the one who found the other queens and formed a pop band. Maiya Quansah-Breed starred in the original UK tour and Anne Uzele originated the role on Broadway. Use the blue holo vinyl and studded trim on the top and leggings. Want more queendom? Sophie Foster from Keeper of the Lost Cities
Sophie Foster is the main character of Shannon Messenger’s fantasy book series Keeper of the Lost Cities. Sophie was raised by human parents, but her birth was the result of Project Moonlark, whereby her DNA was altered to imbue her with a wide range of powerful abilities including telepathy, polyglotism, and teleportation. Sophie is described as being very beautiful, with brown eyes that have gold flecks in them, and long blonde hair. Her outfits often consist of a tailcoat or top layered over leggings and boots, so you may be able to mix and match some of your own wardrobe staples with new pieces to recreate her look.
Nick Burkhardt from Grimm
Nick Burkhardt (played by David Giuntoli) is a detective in for the police department of Portland, Oregon. But more than that he is a Grimm. One of a long line of monster hunters who can see Wesen (German for ‘being’ or ‘creature’ and in this case a species of supernatural creatures that appear human to everyone but a Grimm) as they really are. Unlike other Grimm, however, Nick sees Wesen as people and potential friends. It upsets the usual dynamic between Wesen and Grimm. But that just might be for the best!
Nick is a modern Grimm and that is reflected in his wardrobe. And since he’s from Portland that means he dresses in layers. These layers usually start with a brown leather jacket. Under that he wears a dark button up over a lighter shirt. Standard blue jeans in a darker wash and comfortable boots finish off his look. When he’s on the job Nick always carries his badge and service revolver worn on a belt holster. And of course as a Grimm he has a ton of Wesen research available and you’ll want to keep some at hand as well!
