Aquamarine Steven Universe

Aquamarine from Steven Universe

Aquamarine is an antagonist in the Cartoon Network show, Steven Universe. We first see her trick Connie and easily defeat Steven using her hair bow, which doubles as a wand. She was sent to Earth by the diamonds to collect more humans for their zoos. Like Lapis Lazuli, she has wings and harnesses the power of flight. Her petite and innocent appearance allows her to deceive humans, asking “are you my dad?” She then calls upon a Topaz fusion to absorb them and take them away. Use Spirit Gum to apply the gemstone onto your face. You can also draw it on with more face paint, mixing the aqua and white to get the right color.

caitlin cooke 6teen character

Caitlin Cooke from 6teen

Caitlin Cooke is a main character in the Cartoon Network show, 6teen. She loves shopping and boys. If she’s crying (and mascara streaks down her face), it’s probably over a breakup. In the beginning, Caitlin is naive and spoiled. However, she matures as the show progresses, such as developing a work ethic at the Main Squeeze. Although she can come off as self centered, she has proven time and time again that she can be a good friend. In fact, she is the most optimistic and caring out of the friend circle.

Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran

In 2013, Ed Sheeran topped GQ‘s list of Worst-Dressed Males, but that’s just one magazine’s opinion. Ed Sheeran is an unabashedly comfortable dresser, that’s all! After breaking his elbow and wrist in a bicycling accident and bouncing back well enough to still be able to play guitar, he really deserves to dress as comfortably as possible on stage. And for those of us who disagree with GQ, here’s a handy guide for recreating Ed Sheeran’s aesthetic.

dick roman from supernatural

Dick Roman from Supernatural

Dick Roman (played by James Patrick Stuart) was a billionaire CEO who was killed, eaten, and then impersonated by the leader of the deadly Leviathans who are released from purgatory by Castiel.  Leviathan Dick keeps the original man’s arm in a cooler, complete with his expensive two-tone gold watch.  Dick is eventually killed by Dean, though not until after he shoots Bobby Singer, leading to Bobby’s death.  Dick wears expensive suits, often with complimentary ties and pocket squares, as is expected for a man of his socioeconomic status.

Madonna (1980s Virgin Tour)

Madonna from The Virgin Tour

From the start of her decades-long career of pop stardom, Madonna embraced a scandalous, envelope-pushing image. As tame as it looks through modern eyes, Madonna’s penchant for wearing cropped tops, short skirts, and singing about “sensitive” topics like virginity raised eyebrows in the 1980s. She unabashedly titled her debut concert tour The Virgin Tour, and wore this lacy, white getup consistent that turned the culturally traditional bridal aesthetic completely on its head.

Elsa from Jojo Rabbit

Elsa from Jojo Rabbit

While exploring the attic in his home, a German boy named Jojo Betzler discovers that his mother Rosie has rescued a young Jewish woman from the horrors of the Holocaust. (Granted, Jojo is rather oblivious to the whole thing, having been quite propagandized by the Nazi party’s youth movement.) When he first meets Elsa Korr (Thomasin McKenzie), she’s emaciated and barefoot, but she hasn’t lost her wit, spunk, or spirit. She goes so far as to steal his pocket knife and set him straight on some unfortunate stereotypes!

Kris from Deltarune

Kris from Deltarune

Kris is the main character from Toby Fox’s game Deltarune. They are the human Hero of Light and the leader of their group, though that is only once they fall into the dark world. Before that, though, Kris is a kind but quiet person that some mistake for awkward or creepy. That does not stop Kris from standing by their friends, though!

There are two costumes you can use if you want to dress as Kris. The first is a pair of black jeans and black high tops with a green pullover. In this form, Kris’ hair is a dark brown. In the dark world, however, Kris has dark blue hair and wears silver armor over a dark blue body suit. The also have a cape in blue and pink that is most easily replicated with a large sheet scarf.

James West from Wild Wild West

James West from The Wild Wild West

Pitched as “James Bond of the Wild West,” Jim West was the anachronistically tech-savvy, brawling, and oh, so debonair Secret Service agent for President Ulysses S. Grant. Together with his partner, Artemus Gordon (Ross Martin), the wild, wild West (Robert Conrad) traveled the country by train and stopped various threats to the nation’s security following the Civil War. Did he get sidetracked by beautiful women, stuntmen, and steampunk-esque obstacles along the way? Of course, but that’s all part of what made this classic western show all the more entertaining.

Angel Batista from Dexter

Angel Batista from Dexter

Angel Batista (played by David Zayas) is one of the few people Dexter Morgan would sincerely call a friend. Though Angel is far from perfect he tries to be a good man. He is generally very loyal even when he makes a mistake and his family is often the most important thing in his life. He is also dedicated to his career and does his best to make sure the law is there to protect the people who need it.

Cosplaying as Angel is generally pretty easy but there are two things that any variation on his costume has to have: his goatee and his fedora. You can try and grow your own goatee, draw one on, or use a fake one like that listed above. And though Angel wears several different fedoras, he is rarely seen without one at all.

The rest of his costume is pretty typical for someone who will spend a lot of time outside and in older Miami buildings. A loose-fitting shirt – usually a bowing shirt or Hawaiian shirt – khaki slacks and sturdy but still good-looking shoes that won’t hurt a detective’s feet in the middle of a shift. Add in a detective badge and you’re ready to go!
