Men
Kris from Deltarune
Kris is the main character from Toby Fox’s game Deltarune. They are the human Hero of Light and the leader of their group, though that is only once they fall into the dark world. Before that, though, Kris is a kind but quiet person that some mistake for awkward or creepy. That does not stop Kris from standing by their friends, though!
There are two costumes you can use if you want to dress as Kris. The first is a pair of black jeans and black high tops with a green pullover. In this form, Kris’ hair is a dark brown. In the dark world, however, Kris has dark blue hair and wears silver armor over a dark blue body suit. The also have a cape in blue and pink that is most easily replicated with a large sheet scarf.
James West from The Wild Wild West
Pitched as “James Bond of the Wild West,” Jim West was the anachronistically tech-savvy, brawling, and oh, so debonair Secret Service agent for President Ulysses S. Grant. Together with his partner, Artemus Gordon (Ross Martin), the wild, wild West (Robert Conrad) traveled the country by train and stopped various threats to the nation’s security following the Civil War. Did he get sidetracked by beautiful women, stuntmen, and steampunk-esque obstacles along the way? Of course, but that’s all part of what made this classic western show all the more entertaining.
Jordan Belfort from The Wolf of Wall Street
Jordan Belfort is the main character in The Wolf of Wall Street, a black comedy crime film based on the memoir of the real Jordan Belfort. Belfort was a stockbroker on Wall Street, who rose the rankings to become the head of his brokerage house firm. However, he leads his firm down a path of corruption and fraud which leads to his own downfall. Oscar winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio plays Belfort. We give you two outfits: his work outfit and his yacht outfit. We included the Ralph Lauren Polo for accuracy, but it can be pricey, so any white polo will do.
Angel Batista from Dexter
Angel Batista (played by David Zayas) is one of the few people Dexter Morgan would sincerely call a friend. Though Angel is far from perfect he tries to be a good man. He is generally very loyal even when he makes a mistake and his family is often the most important thing in his life. He is also dedicated to his career and does his best to make sure the law is there to protect the people who need it.
Cosplaying as Angel is generally pretty easy but there are two things that any variation on his costume has to have: his goatee and his fedora. You can try and grow your own goatee, draw one on, or use a fake one like that listed above. And though Angel wears several different fedoras, he is rarely seen without one at all.
The rest of his costume is pretty typical for someone who will spend a lot of time outside and in older Miami buildings. A loose-fitting shirt – usually a bowing shirt or Hawaiian shirt – khaki slacks and sturdy but still good-looking shoes that won’t hurt a detective’s feet in the middle of a shift. Add in a detective badge and you’re ready to go!
Zorro
Brought to life on the screen by the likes of Antonio Banderas and Tyrone Powers, Johnston McCulley’s fictional masked hero has enchanted readers and moviegoers alike for over one hundred years. Zorro (born Don Alejandro de la Vega) is a skilled acrobat and swordsman. You’ll know only after the fact that he saved the day when you find the villains’ bodies sliced with three cuts, forming the letter Z — the mark of Zorro.
Wario from WarioWare
Wario is the main antagonist to Mario and the star of his own spin-off games called WarioWare. These games involve microgames that the player must complete in order to preserve their lives. Additionally these games often have a theme associated with the title and characters. Use a piece of red duct tape down the middle of the helmet. For added detail, you can paint a ‘W’ with light blue paint. If you want to go extra mile, you can paint the nose pink and even get a cleft chin prosthetic.
Shota Aizawa from My Hero Academia
Shota Aizawa, also known as Eraser Head, is a character from the hit anime, My Hero Academia. He is the homeroom teacher for Class 1-A. His Quirk is called Erasure, in which he can erase the Quirk of his opponent by simply looking at them. Other strengths include hand to hand combat, as well as astute observation and intellect. Quiet and stern, Aizawa is known to set a high bar for his students. This makes him come off as cold and apathetic, especially when he is brutally honest with his thoughts and feelings. For this costume, you can use a stippling sponge or black eyeliner around your mouth to add his stubble.
Canon Human Bill Cipher
On a charity stream, Gravity Falls creator Alex Hirsch sketched his headcanon of human Bill Cipher as a grotesque monster with snake eyes and rotten yellow teeth. This shook the fanbase who long depicted human Bill Cipher in their fan art as a svelte and suave human dressed to the nines.
Warden Wrath from The Owl House
Warden Wrath (voiced by Robert Craig Smith) is the head warden of the Conformitorium. As the name implies it is where “unruly” citizens go so that they may learn to conform to the way Warden Wrath thinks things ought to be. He is not someone you want to cross, after all. He can shapeshift and breathe fire, as well as do tremendous damage with his superior strength.
To get his fearsome look you need foundational garments of black scrub pants tucked into heeled boots and a tight-fitting undershirt with a black hood. Over that goes a white “mad scientist” coat belted around the waist with a black leather belt. Then you put in your plague mask and pull the hood up and you’re good to go!
You can take things a step further by getting long grey gloves to cover your hands and arms, the only exposed skin Warden Wrath has. Grey body paint can also help you get the same effect!
Isaac from Castlevania
Isaac (played by Adetokumboh M’Cormack in the Netflix series Castlevania) is Dracula’s human right-hand man and one of the two devil forge masters in Dracula’s army. Unlike his naive counterpart Hector, Isaac is extremely loyal and passionate about ending humanity. He has seen the dark side of humanity from an early age and although he may technically be a major antagonist in Castlevania, one can not help but feel for Isaac. He is a complex character that has as much willpower to build an army of demons as he has compassion for those who are kind to him. Isaac’s costume takes a bit of layering. You will need to wear the Black Leather Neck Seal underneath the Medieval Black Lace Up V-Neck Long Sleeve. After tucking the long sleeve into the Medieval Trouser Pants you can wrap the Wine Red Sash Belt around your waist. After this, you can go about adding the other accessories. Once everything is on you will be ready for any cosplay event or Halloween party.
