Bumper from Pitch Perfect
Bumper is a character from the 2012 film Pitch Perfect, and is played by Adam Devine. Pitch Perfect is a comedy that follows Beca, a college student that joins the all-girls singing group at her school called The Bellas who take on the rival all-male group in competition.
Bumper is the leader of the rival group, The Treblemakers. His style shows this as he sticks to a maroon-focused color palette, matching the group stage costumes. To dress like Bumper, wear a maroon jacket, a maroon and blue striped tee, and for the stage costume wear a maroon velvet blazer, maroon and navy striped tie, black sweater vest, and a maroon button down shirt underneath.
Hayner from Kingdom Hearts 2
Hayner (voiced in Japanese by Kazunori Sasaki and in English by Justin Cowden [KH2]) is one of the main characters you find in Twilight Town, and Roxas’ best friend, throughout the Kingdom Hearts series.
He hangs out with Pence and Olette, along with Roxas, and enjoys participating in the town’s Struggle tournament, where he has a long standing rivalry with Seifer (though this sadly does not continue into KH3). Out of Roxas’ friends, he’s the most hot-headed, and tends to jump to conclusions without backup.
Hayner has light golden hair, worn in a largely spiked up wave towards the back of his head, and his eyes are a beautiful brown color. His KH2 outfit consists of a black tanktop with a white chalky looking skull drawn across the entire front, a light forest green cropped vest that he wears open over top of it, camo print scrunched leg capris that go down almost to his ankles, matching slip on shoes with white tips, and the outfit is finished off with a studded bracelet that matches his eyes, and a corded necklace with a golden X as the jewelry piece.
Evan from Superbad
Evan is a character from the 2000s comedy film Superbad, and is played by Michael Cera. Superbad follows two best friends, Evan and Seth as they experience their last two weeks of high school and prepare for a huge house party.
Evan, like many of the characters that Michael Cera plays is an awkward and nerdy character at his school. To dress like Evan wear a striped polo, yellow half-zip jacket with a green shirt and khaki pants, or a green jacket with a white polo and brown pants. This would make for a fun group costume with Seth and McLovin.
Leonard Bernstein from Maestro
Maestro is a film directed by Bradley Cooper who also stars as the protagonist, Leonard Bernstein. The film is a biopic of Leonard Bernstein’s life and rise to fame as a successful conductor. The film follows Bernstein’s life as he grows old with his wife Felicia and how they face different struggles together.
To dress like Bernstein as he appears conducting an orchestra, wear a black tailcoat, white vest, white shirt, white bow tie, black pants, and carry a conductors baton. For the look with Felicia in his older years, wear a khaki suit, pink shirt, and red patterned tie.

Colt Seavers from The Fall Guy
Colt Seavers is one of the main characters in the new film The Fall Guy, and is played by Ryan Gosling. The Fall Guy is a brand new action-packed film that follows a stuntman named Colt Seavers who has to track down a missing movie star while still doing his day job. His love interest in the film is Jody who is working on her directorial debut.
To dress like Colt in his stuntman blue uniform, wear navy blue coveralls and paint the top portion with turquoise or a lighter blue fabric paint, and use letter stencils on the front and back to label as the stunt team. In his iconic white and gold look, wear brown and gold stylish sunglasses, a cream vest that mimics the shape and look of a stunt vest/harness, metallic gold jeans, tactical brown boots, and a cream shirt. Use black fabric spray paint and brown fabric paint to create the distressed and dirty look to the costume. You could also try a pre-made vest and shirt of the costume. Using your own pieces that are cream instead of white gives it a aged look without having to dye the full pieces.
Fred from Scooby-Doo (2002)
Fred is one of the main characters from the 2002 film Scooby-Doo, and is played by Freddie Prinze Jr. This movie is a live-action take on the original Scooby-Doo cartoons. It follows the classic group as they travel to Spooky Island to investigate paranormal incidents at a spring break spot.
Fred’s look follows the original cartoon very closely and is a stylish take on it. To dress like Fred, wear a blue leather jacket, a white sweater vest over a blue shirt with blue jeans and a red scarf around the neck.
Backup Dancers from ‘I’m Just Ken’ Oscars Performance
This past weekend, the 2024 Oscars were more than memorable thanks to Ryan Gosling bringing the Kenergy to the awards with his explosive live performance of ‘I’m Just Ken.’ Although Barbie didn’t win best picture or director, Ryan truly made a lasting impression by flooding our screens and the stage with pink. He was accompanied by a large ensemble of Kens supporting him as background dancers. The look of the performance was inspired by the iconic scene featuring Marilyn Monroe’s ‘Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend’ from the film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. Of course in this case, Ryan is the iconic blonde and the ensemble wear costumes inspired by the men in the ensemble from the film. Choosing this classic film as inspiration is also fitting as Greta Gerwig took a lot of inspiration from large sweeping sound-stage musicals from that time. The I’m Just Ken scene in Barbie is actually inspired by Singin’ in the Rain, from the dream ballet sequence with Cyd Charisse and Gene Kelly.
To dress like a backup dancer from this performance, wear a black tailcoat blazer, white pocket square, white vest, white shirt, white bow tie, black pants, pink socks, and black dress shoes. Pair this with a black cowboy hat and don’t forget to create the pink sash. This can be made by wearing a hot pink 3.5 inch wide sash and either gluing or sewing a 2 inch light pink ribbon down the center. The sash is worn over the white button down tux shirt, but under and tucked into the white vest. This would make for a great duo or group costume with your favorite Kens, and one of them being Ryan’s Ken in the all-pink suit.
Timmy McDoodle from 60 Seconds!
Timmy is the youngest member of the McDoodle family trying to survive a nuclear explosion in the indie game 60 Seconds! He is the brother of Mary Jane and the son of Dolores and Ted. If you can’t find an exact match for his shirt, choose one that has similar cut and colors.
Keith Kazama Flick from B the Beginning
Keith (voiced in Japanese by Hiroaki Hirata and in English by Ray Chase) is one of the main characters in the Netflix original anime series, B the Beginning.
He is a genius detective that came out of retirement to work with the R.I.S. in their efforts to catch the serial killer known as ‘Killer B’, which launches him into a much deeper investigation involving the case that made him quit in the first place.
Keith has dark teal eyes with a long thin scar underneath his right one, and he wears thin framed glasses. His hair is blackish-brown and worn in a short, shaggy cut, and his beard and mustache are much the same. The outfit he’s usually seen in is a loose-fitting off-white button up shirt, with a matching set of dark grey suit jacket and slacks, with a simple brown belt. It’s finished off with dark brown shoes, which he wears seemingly without socks.
