Saxton Hale
In Team Fortress 2, Saxton Hale is the CEO of Mann Co, the company that supplies both RED and BLU mercenaries with their weapons. He’s a manly Australian who’s rarely seen in a shirt, let alone a necktie. The better to show off his Australia-shaped chest hair.
Superman / Clark Kent
Superman, who was born Kal-El, is sent to Earth just before the destruction of his home planet, Krypton. He gains his powers from the sun and is able to fly faster than a speeding bullet, is more powerful than a locomotive, and is able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. If you’d rather not wear your underwear on the outside, then you can always dress up as Superman’s alias, Clark Kent.
Ticci Toby
Ticci Toby is a crazed killer from the creepypasta of the same name. Ticci Toby was in a car crash with his sister, who unfortunately didn’t escape as she was impaled by glass shards and her chest and legs crushed by the car’s wreckage. Ticci Toby survived the crash, but carries with him the burden of an incurable tic caused by Tourette’s, giving him his name.
Inigo Montoya
In The Princess Bride, Inigo Montoya (Mandy Patinkin) is a Spanish swordfighter who seeks revenge on Count Rugen for the murder of his father, as he will so often remind you: “Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die!”
Dread Pirate Roberts
In The Princess Bride, Dread Pirate Roberts (Cary Elwes) is a pirate with a mythical reputation who is feared across the seven seas for his swordfighting skills. It’s revealed that Dread Pirate Roberts is actually a succession of individuals who pass on the name, with farm boy Westley as the latest.
Ragnar Lothbrok
In Vikings, Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) starts as a farmer whose ambitions lead him to join raids in England. Through his successes he soon becomes one the most feared Norse raiders of Europe. Of course, Ragnar’s costume wouldn’t be complete without his trademark hairstyle.
Lee Everett
In The Walking Dead video game, Lee Everett (voiced by Dave Fennoy) was a history professor before the outbreak, but now he’s just one of the world’s few survivors. He hasn’t lost his humanity though, acting as a parental figure for the young Clementine.
Vincent Adultman
In BoJack Horseman, everyone is seemingly oblivious to the fact that Vincent Adultman, who likes to hang out in bars, is actually three kids in a trench coat with a broom for one hand and a mannequin hand for the other. Princess Carolyn even goes so far as to date this “stud”.
Robert Lutece
In BioShock Infinite, Robert Lutece (voiced by Oliver Vaquer) is a quantum physicist who, with twin sister Rosalind, escorts Booker DeWitt to the city of Columbia. He keeps track of coin flips on a chalk sandwich board, but it’s hardly needed when you always toss heads.
