Hippolyta
Hippolyta wasn’t always a queen. Before the gods took pity on her forlorn soul she was a mortal cavewoman. Her mate murdered her and the gods plucked her soul from the Underworld to create the Queen of the Amazons. Her sister Amazons were women who also suffered violence at the hands of men, ultimately leading them to the secret and secluded island where they remained until their Princess Diana left to join the wider world to become Wonder Woman.
Hippolyta has had several different looks over the years but this one is closer to her classic comic appearance. Long dark hair worn loose around her shoulders, a gown of deep purple accented by a gold belt, gold sandals, silver bracers, and a small crown atop her head.
Linda Flynn-Fletcher from Phineas and Ferb
By day Linda Flynn-Fletcher is a busy housewife in suburban Danville. By night she is… still a busy housewife since her days of wild adventure were back in the ’80s as pop sensation Lindana. Of course she still has plenty to keep her busy between neighborhood clubs, her classes, and of course Candace calling her a few times every afternoon trying to bust Phineas and Ferb!
It’s hard to match Linda’s energy levels but you can match her look pretty easily. A red wig and a pink hairband start off the look. Her casually comfortable style needs only a white short sleeve button down, a yellow sweater vest, and a green pair of capris. Yellow sneakers with cuffed white socks make it easy to stay on the go while red lipstick and teal ball earrings add the final touches.
Bowser from Super Mario Bros.
Bowser is the head honcho, the King Koopa, the guy who keeps stealing Mario’s princess and putting her in another castle. He’s had thirteen voice actors over the years in two languages alone. And that’s not even going into his live action appearances. He’s mean, he’s nasty, and he’s always ready to take on Mario!
The easiest way to get a King’s look is to start with the base costume set pictured above. It will give you Bowser’s body design and is a great jumping-off point. The costume does come with an inflatable shell but it’s very small. A larger one is also listed here for those who want to upgrade. A pair of yellow clawed slippers finishes off the clothing while face paint in either yellow or pink can help your face blend in a little more with the Bowser mask.
Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew)
Jessica Drew may seem like just another member of the Spider family. But she is the original Spider-Woman, the mother of Gerry Drew (the future Spider-Boy, Spider-Man, and ‘The Spider’). But she wasn’t always a hero. Far from it, Drew began her career with Hydra. She was their assassin until she saw the error of her ways and eventually defected to join SWORD, SHIELD, and the Avengers.
Jessica Drew’s Spider-Woman has had several looks over the years. Arguably one of her most iconic is this one: a red and yellow bodysuit, yellow boots, yellow gloves, and her dark hair worn long and loose. It might not be the most tactical look she’s had but it’s certainly one of the most glamorous!
Rize Kamishiro from Tokyo Ghoul
Rize Kamishiro (voiced by Kana Hanazawa and Monica Rial) was a ghoul whose kakuhou was transplanted into Ken Kaneki, the main protagonist of the anime and manga Tokyo Ghoul. Rize’s costume consists of a white dress layered over a blue shirt, long purple hair, and red half-rimmed glasses.
Adriano Zumbo
Adriano Zumbo found his passion early and has been chasing it ever since. His show is a unique gem in Netflix’s cooking show lineup, Zumbo’s Just Desserts for a man who has dedicated his life to his craft. And when you consider that the man has Willy Wonka tattooed on his arm, it’s easy to see where he got his inspiration from!
Zumbo’s usual look is easy to pull off. Kitchen shoes, black slacks, a white t-shirt, a chef’s jacket, a black middle finger ring, and a wrist cuff. It’s a very straight-forward look. Zumbo sets them apart with his signature bald look and his Willy Wonka tattoo which you can copy using the printable temporary tattoo paper listed above. If you’re feeling like an accessory, add a box of macarons. He is knows as the Macaron King after all!
Graham’s Meat-Cook from Fallout 76
A post apocalyptic wasteland isn’t the ideal spot for a summer barbecue. But when a friendly super mutant shows up and offers big rewards for hosting the best barbecue this side of the Appalachians, you give it your all. It doesn’t hurt that the rewards include some sweet looks for your next summer cook out.
There are a couple of ways to style the reward you get from Graham. You can rock the cleaner look with a black “Fancy Chef’s Hat” and “Grillmaster” outfit complete with a white button down cuffed at the elbows, a black bow tie, a clean white apron, black slacks, and black shoes.
Or if you want a grittier look you can for the Bloody Chef’s hat and a bloody apron over your button down and slacks. Just take the fake blood spray to one chef’s hat and one apron.
In both cases you’ll want a couple of handy cleavers and you can even paint your own meat week flag using fabric paint, a blank white flag, and the picture above as a guide. After all, you can’t be too prepared in the world of Fallout.
Pete from Disjointed
Pete (played by Dougie Baldwin – and no, he isn’t one of the Baldwins) is the in-house grower at Ruth’s Alternative Caring, the dispensary at the heart of the show Disjointed. He’s a a kind-hearted and unassuming guy but that doesn’t mean he stays out of trouble. Between fathering his talking plants, dating the personification of marijuana, and trying to keep an AI from taking over the world he has a lot more on his plate than the pH balance of his soil!
Pete is down to earth in more than just his personality. He likes wearing neutral and earth tones. This means a tan shirt and a knit pullover with a pair of jeans suited for gardening in. A shaggy wig and a pair of sandals rounds out his look.
Dwight Fairfield from Dead by Daylight
Dwight Fairfield is the average everyman turned nervous leader of the survivors in Dead by Daylight. After being drugged and abandoned by his coworkers, he found himself in the realm of the Entity, where he now uses his leadership skills and his bond with the other survivors to survive against the killers intent on sacrificing them. Dwight was one of the original quartet of survivors introduced when the game premiered.
Beast Boy
Beast Boy is a character from the DC Comics. His real name is Garfield Logan but he’s also used the alias Changeling. Beast Boy is a shapeshifter who can transform into any animal. He has a playful personality and a not so secret crush on Raven. While he currently stars in Cartoon Network’s Teen Titans with a purple and black suit, this is his original comic design. This version requires a bit crafting, but you don’t need to be a superhero to do it! Cut the sides and half the width of the arms off the white sports shirt to resemble the suit design. Then sew or hot glue it onto the red unitard. Cut a square hole in the shorts right at your belly button. You can use hair gel and holding spray to spike up the wig.
