Valkyrie from Thor: Ragnarok
Valkyrie is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Played by Tessa Thompson, she first appears in Thor: Ragnarok. Her actual name is Brunnhilde, though she goes by Valkyrie because she was part of a group of Asgardian warriors called the Valkyries. Before selling Thor to the Grandmaster, she was a bounty hunter on the planet Skaar named Scrapper 142. She befriends Thor and Bruce Banner, ultimately joining the Revengers to defeat Hela. In Avengers: Endgame, Valkyrie survived the snap and helped relocate the Asgardians. Later on she led the Asgardians in the battle against Thanos. Thor then appointed her as the new leader and king of Asgard. To achieve her look from Thor: Ragnarok, style your hair into a half updo top knot. With the NYX White Eyeliner, draw the lines around her eyes, and use this close up picture for reference.
Abby Cadabby
Abby Cadabby is a character on the children’s TV series, Seasame Street. She is a fairy in training who, like all the other characters, lives on Sesame Street. She first appeared in the episode “Abby Cadabby Moves to Sesame Street,” which introduced the show’s 37th season. Her name is a play on the word “Abracadabra” due to her magical abilities. These include teleporting, floating, — and turning things into pumpkins with her wand! Similar to Elmo and Baby Bear, Abby Cadabby is a child who likes to learn the alphabet and how to count. When she learns something new, she exclaims: “That’s so magical!”
Hera from Lore Olympus
Hera is the Greek goddess of marriage. Because she is married to Zeus, she reigns alongside him as Queen of the Gods. She is also the mother of Ares and Hebe. In Lore Olympus, she has golden hair and skin. She wears 20s inspired outfits in white and dark blue. While empathetic and nurturing, Hera has quite the temper, especially concerning her husband’s infidelity. She is especially caring towards Persephone and can sense her trauma. Aside from those she cares about, she is often stubborn and unrelenting. Her abilities include blessing or fixing marriages, shapeshifting, and clairvoyance.
Kyoko Kirigiri from Danganronpa
Kyoko Kirigiri (voiced by Yoko Hikasa in Japanese and both Erika Harlacher and Caitlin Glass in English) is one of the main characters in the Danganronpa anime and game series, including Trigger Happy Havoc. Kyoko has long, light purple hair which she wears down with a braid in the side during her high school days. Her high school outfit consists of a purple jacket, orange tie, and pleated skirt. In Danganronpa 3, Kyoko becomes the 14th Division’s leader, and her outfit matures a little with a purple bodycon skirt, ankle booties, and her long hair pulled back in a low ponytail. In both versions, she wears a white long sleeved blouse and studded black gloves.
Doki Doki Literature Club
Doki Doki Literature Club is a freeware visual novel game. While it initially appears to be a light-hearted dating simulator, things take a more sinister turn fairly quickly. The four main characters of the game include Monika, Sayori, Yuri, and Natsuki, all of whom vie for the attention of the male protagonist at different points of the game. The girls all wear identical school uniforms that include a tan blazer, blue skirt, and orange vest. You can choose which character to emulate depending on the socks and wig you pair with the rest of your costume.
Éowyn from the Lord of the Rings
Éowyn (played by Miranda Otto) is the sister of Éomer in The Lord of the Rings. She is a minor character introduced late in the series. She is at first enamored of Aragorn, though she eventually goes on to marry Faramir. Éowyn is incredibly strong-willed and eventually impersonates a man in order to fight with her fellow countryman. She saves King Théodon’s life and kills the Witch-King of the Nazgul, who a prophesy had said could be killed by no man. If you’re willing to really commit to your costume, feel free to dirty up your outfit and tatter your cloak for a more authentically used look.
Judy Alvarez from Cyberpunk 2077
Artist. Fighter. Mox. Judy Alvarez has made a niche for herself in Night City after moving up from Laguna Bend with her grandparents as a child. When they left she stayed. Now she is as much a part of the city as the rest of her gang. She’s one of the best braindance technicians around but getting her work for yourself isn’t exactly easy to do. Judy has her morals. And if you don’t stack up, she’s gone.
A personality as bold as Judy’s usually comes with a lot of flash but Judy likes to keep it simple. A white tank top tied up above her navel, black leather overalls, and black high tops. She also has a number of tattoos that you can replicate using a tattoo marker and temporary tattoos.
The hard part is copying Judy’s hair. You can choose a similar style that doesn’t require buzzing half your hair off, you can mimic her style directly, or you can use a wig. And when it comes to wigs you have two options. The first is a premade wig that uses fabric to indicate the shaved area. The second option is to buy a white wig, follow this tutorial for another wig alteration originally filmed for another cosplay, and then dye the wig using pink and green Rit dye which should lock the color into the wig’s synthetic fibers.
Yumi Ishiyama from Code Lyoko
Yumi Ishiyama (voiced by Mirabelle Kirkland) is one of the Lyoko Warriors from the French cartoon Code Lyoko. Yumi is a calm and athletic person, as well as Aelita Schaeffer’s best friend. Her relationship with Ulrich Stern wavers between platonic and romantic throughout the series. Yumi’s typical clothing is black and straightforward. However, to recreate her original virtual costume, you’ll need to be a little creative. By layering red leggings with brown socks and beige sports tape, you can mimic much of her outfit. Then, you’ll need to layer a yellow obi over your dress, and wield a pair of fans to finish the look.
Caitlyn Goodwyn from Magical DoReMi
Caitlyn – Also known as Pop – is your typical little sister. She wants to do everything her big sister does, no matter how dangerous or difficult. And she doesn’t like having her big sister hovering over her. It causes a few fights but at the end of the day Caitlyn’s sweet nature wins out.
Some of Caitlyn’s personality comes out in her clothes. Her main color when not in her magical outfit is purple. Red is her main magical color for those who plan on making their own magical cosplay!
For her daily outfit you’ll need lavender socks, dark purple shorts, blue shoes, and a long sleeved lavender shirt. To get closer to Caitlyn’s details you will also want large white buttons that you either sew or glue to the top, a detachable peter pan collar, and purple pompoms to decorate the top of each shoe. Add in a bright pink wig and a little bit of attitude and you’re ready to go!

Wendy from Animal Crossing
Some villagers like to work out. Others like to play music. Wendy likes four things: DIY, MagLev Mike, chasing her dreams of pop stardom, and – of course – her friends. She loves sharing good news with other people on the island and spends most of her time socializing with her neighbors. Her personality is as playful as her style and it shows!
Setting up a Wendy costume requires a little bit of DIY. You’ll have to paint the horns in stripes of marigold yellow spaced out with pale yellow. Then you’ll want to wrap the headband in blue ribbon so it blends in better with the blue wig that mimics the wool on top of Wendy’s head.
A watermelon-print blouse, a blue ruffle skirt, brown leggings, and brown ballet flats finish the look. You can accessorize with a hammer from your DIY bench or – if you’re feeling the urge to chance Wendy’s dreams – a microphone so you’re always ready for your big popstar-slash-fashion designer break!
