Misako from River City Girls

River City Girls is a beat-em-up brawler game that was released for multiple platforms. One of its two main characters, Misako (voiced by Kayli Mills) starts out the game in detention. When she finds out her boyfriend has been kidnapped – along with her best friend’s boyfriend – the girls break out of detention to save the day!

Misako’s costume is fairly easy and also fair comfortable! She wears her black hair in a bob pinned back with red pins. Her uniform shirt and red tie are easy to copy, so long as you tuck her your tie like she does! From there all you need are a pair of black shorts, a pink backpack, green thigh-high socks, and pink loafers. Put it all together and you can be brawling in River City in no time!

Kris from Deltarune

Kris is the main character from Toby Fox’s game Deltarune. They are the human Hero of Light and the leader of their group, though that is only once they fall into the dark world. Before that, though, Kris is a kind but quiet person that some mistake for awkward or creepy. That does not stop Kris from standing by their friends, though!

There are two costumes you can use if you want to dress as Kris. The first is a pair of black jeans and black high tops with a green pullover. In this form, Kris’ hair is a dark brown. In the dark world, however, Kris has dark blue hair and wears silver armor over a dark blue body suit. The also have a cape in blue and pink that is most easily replicated with a large sheet scarf.

Vera from Whispers of a Machine

Vera from Whispers of a Machine

Vera (voiced in English Ivy Dupler) is a cybernetically augmented police detective and the protagonist of Raw Fury’s Nordic noir adventure game Whispers of a Machine. Depending on what traits you emphasize during your run of the game, Vera’s personality varies; sometimes, she will show a soft and nurturing (and most importantly, human) side as she grieves for a lost partner, and other times, she is brusque and technical to a tee. Did she become a cyborg to help fight crime to the best of her abilities, or to escape from unresolved human failures?

SCP 049 from SCP Containment Breach

SCP-049 from SCP – Containment Breach

SCP-049 is one of the terrifying creatures catalogued by the SCP Foundation. The SCP Foundation started as a form of online collaborative storytelling and has since morphed into a video game franchise among other things. SCP-049 appears in the game SCP – Containment Breach. It is humanoid and appears dressed as a surgeon from the European medieval era. Unfortunately this is not a doctor that heals. Any human it touches becomes a reanimated corpse that is bound to do the will of SCP-049.

Although SCP-049 is itself largely unknowable – since getting too close can turn you into an undead puppet – dressing up as SCP-049 is relatively easy. All you need is a black hooded cloak or robe, a grey plague doctor mask, black boots, and black gloves. It helps if you make the sleeves of the robe a bit tattered and if you wear black clothing underneath so it seems as if there is nothing under the robe but darkness and void.
