Spot from Across the Spider-Verse
Spot (voiced by Jason Schwartzman) is the primary antagonist of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Once a scientist at Alchemax named Dr. Johnathan Ohnn, Spot’s mutated appearance is the result of Spider-Man destroying Kingpin‘s Super-Collider in the first film of the series. Spot begins as a comedic villain, but eventually, his determination to destroy Miles’ life turns him into something much more sinister. To recreate Spot’s villainous appearance, you’ll need to start with a full white bodysuit and matching shoes. Then, add splotches of black to the costume using fabric paint. You can paint them on with brushes and/or add them with a dimensional paint using the plastic tip, depending on your preference. Make sure you leave plenty of time for the paint to dry before you intend to wear your costume.
Rio Morales from Across the Spider-Verse
Rio Morales (voiced by Luna Lauren Velez) is the mother of Miles Morales in the animated film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Rio works as a nurse and often plays the role of mediator between her husband Jefferson and their son. Rio has curly brown hair that she prefers to wear in a loose side ponytail. She also favors wearing gold hoop earrings, which can be seen in several of her outfits in the film. When working, Rio wears a white long-sleeved shirt under a scrub shirt with burgundy scrub pants and white shoes. She also wears a red flutter sleeve blouse, wide leg pants, and red wedge shoes that tie around her ankle. At another point, she dons a green floral print shirt with a blue jacket.
Kingpin from Into the Spider-Verse
In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the Kingpin (voiced by Liev Schreiber) is the street name of Wilson Fisk, a crime lord and arch-nemesis of Spider-Man. He is immense in stature, both figuratively and physically, and seems to be made up of pure muscle. For this costume, trawl your local thrift store for the absolute largest black suit and skinniest black necktie that you can find.
Peni Parker from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Peni Parker is a Japanese-American student who pilots a mech suit called SP//dr through a psychic link with a radioactive spider. For this costume, you’ll have to be a bit crafty, attached the pink ribbon along the v-neck of the sweater. Add a cat face and yellow cat ears to your backpack for extra credit points.
Spider-Man Noir from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Spider-Man Noir (voiced by Nicolas Cage) is a dark, monochromatic version of Peter Parker from a 1930s universe. He teams up with multiple Spider-Men from alternate dimensions including Miles Morales, Peter B. Parker, and Spider-Gwen to save New York City from the Kingpin.
Peter B. Parker from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Peter Benjamin Parker is a Spider-Man from a parallel universe from Miles Morales. He’s been Spider-Man for over 20 years, suffering major life setbacks and injuries, which have left him jaded, exhausted, and a bit overweight. Peter B. Parker is so disheveled, he wears mismatched shoes: a sneaker on his left foot and a boot on his right.
Spider-Man (Miles Morales) from Into the Spider-Verse
In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Miles Morales is a Brooklyn teenager who gets bitten by a genetically-modified spider and gains powers similar to Spider-Man. After Peter Parker is killed, Miles takes over the Spider-Man identity in order to save the city from The Kingpin.
Spider-Gwen
In an alternate Marvel universe called Earth-65, instead of Peter Parker getting bit by a radioactive spider to become Spider-Man, it is Gwen Stacy who gets bit and gains superpowers to become Spider-Woman. Fans affectionately refer to her as Spider-Gwen.
