Love Quinn from You

Love Quinn is a character from the Netflix series You, and is played by Victoria Pedretti. You follows Joe, who works in a bookstore and frequently has crushes throughout the seasons that he would go killer lengths for to be with them. Love is a character we meet in season two and she continues through season three, where she becomes the antagonist. She is an aspiring chef from a wealthy family and starts a family with Joe.

Love typically dresses very feminine, with lots of sweaters and often an apron as she’s always cooking or baking. This would make a great duo costume with Joe Goldberg from season three.

Joe Goldberg from You

Joe Goldberg is a character from the Netflix series You, and is played by Penn Badgley. You follows Joe, who works in a bookstore and frequently has crushes throughout the seasons that he will go killer lengths for to be with them. Joe makes for a great and recognizable costume duo with one of his love interests and a fan favorite character named Love. Joe has a signature look he has throughout the season, specifically when he is stalking and trying not to be seen. When he does this, he wears his ionic denim baseball cap along with a denim jacket and other layers. Add a backpack to complete the look or a front-facing baby carrier for a season three duo costume with Love.

Babette from White Noise

Babette is a character from the film White Noise by Noah Baumbach, and is played by Greta Gerwig. The film is based on the original 1985 novel by Don DeLillo. This story follows college professor Jack Gladney and his family as they’re faced with “The Airborne Toxic Event.” They’re forced to evacuate their home and ultimately face their fear of death throughout the film and we see how each of them cope with this in their own ways. Babette is a very kind character who is married to Jack and teaches classes to the elderly for work.

Babette wears very fitting outfits for a working 80s mom with lots of purple and blue pieces. She tends to wear jeans and high waisted, wide leg, and pleated dress pants that are rolled at the bottom to show her grey suede ankle boots. If you have “important hair” like Babette, this costume could be perfect for you!

Jack from White Noise

Jack is the main character from the film White Noise by Noah Baumbach, and is played by Adam Driver. Jack is married to Babette and is a character that is passionate about his work, curious and eager to learn, and mild-mannered.

Jack has a strong contrast between some of his costumes in the film. When he is at work and giving lectures, he has a kind of persona that is almost theatrical, wearing a black doctorate robe paired with sunglasses which gives him a certain confidence in teaching. Outside of work, he dresses casually with a blue 80s windbreaker and always a funky patterned shirt.

Lucy from I’m Thinking of Ending Things

Lucy is the main character from the film I’m Thinking of Ending Things by Charlie Kaufman, and is played by Jessie Buckley. Salma-Joan wears bold costumes like a stunning, over-the-top yellow jumpsuit with a green purse. Another features Joan’s distinct hairstyle, a brunette wig with blonde front pieces. She wears this with a green blazer and white shirt.

Karl Havoc from I Think You Should Leave

This costume is from I Think You Should Leave, a sketch comedy show created by Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin. Its third season recently debuted on Netflix. The concept of this sketch takes place behind the scenes of Everything Is Upside Down, a hidden camera prank show. The host, Carmine Laguzio, plans to wear a disguise (named Karl Havoc) to cause chaos at the mall. The heavy prosthetics become too uncomfortable, making the host to go from energetic to irritated to downright miserable.

Nadia from Russian Doll

Nadia from the Netflix dark comedy-drama series Russian Doll is played by the iconic Natasha Lyonne, who also created the show. Nadia is the stylish protagonist of the series where we follow her living the same day, her birthday, over and over. Her strong/tough personality reflects in her wardrobe. She is a true New Yorker and therefore wears lots of black and grey. Her outfit almost always consists of a silk blouse and a wool coat. She always wears a gold necklace and plays with layering. She is serious in her clothing but always hilariously dismissive towards the world in the show. You can never go wrong with Natasha Lyonne!
