James West from The Wild Wild West
Pitched as “James Bond of the Wild West,” Jim West was the anachronistically tech-savvy, brawling, and oh, so debonair Secret Service agent for President Ulysses S. Grant. Together with his partner, Artemus Gordon (Ross Martin), the wild, wild West (Robert Conrad) traveled the country by train and stopped various threats to the nation’s security following the Civil War. Did he get sidetracked by beautiful women, stuntmen, and steampunk-esque obstacles along the way? Of course, but that’s all part of what made this classic western show all the more entertaining.
Daisy Domergue
In The Hateful Eight, Daisy Domergue (Jennifer Jason Leigh) is a fugitive captured by bounty hunter John “The Hangman” Ruth, who is intent to bringing her not dead, but alive. What’s worse, they’re accompanies by a second bounty hunter, Major Marquis Warren. They’re delayed however when a blizzard forces them to take refuge in a small stagecoach lodge.
Revolver Ocelot
In Metal Gear Solid, Revolver Ocelot, real name Adamska (or simply Adam, is an operative of FOXHOUND and an agent of the Patriots. A master of interrogation and a formidable gunfighter, he is often referred to as a “ricochet genius” in regards to his gun fighting skills. A fanatic, he was known for his affinity of Spaghetti Westerns, as evidenced by his choice of weapon and his clothing, duster and spurs, the traditional garb of cowboys. His weapon of choice was the Colt Single Action Army Revolver, which he described as “the greatest handgun ever made.”
The Man With No Name
…actually, we usually just call him Clint Eastwood, but either way – Sergio Leonne’s gunslinging, poncho-wearing anti-hero from the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is one stylish m’f-er.
