Wigfrid from Don’t Starve Together
Wigfrid is one of the playable characters in the survival horror game series, Don’t Starve.
She’s a former stage star, fully embodying the roll of the Valkyrie character she played to the point where it became the only thing she could do, leaving her other performances imperfect.
Wigfrid is usually seen wearing her stage costume, with her bright red hair tied back into two thick braids, white eyes like a large amount of other DST characters, and a gold toned valkyrie costume, with tan sandals/wraps, metallic bracers, and a viking-esque had with a unicorn at the top.
Valkyrie from Thor: Ragnarok
Valkyrie is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Played by Tessa Thompson, she first appears in Thor: Ragnarok. Her actual name is Brunnhilde, though she goes by Valkyrie because she was part of a group of Asgardian warriors called the Valkyries. Before selling Thor to the Grandmaster, she was a bounty hunter on the planet Skaar named Scrapper 142. She befriends Thor and Bruce Banner, ultimately joining the Revengers to defeat Hela. In Avengers: Endgame, Valkyrie survived the snap and helped relocate the Asgardians. Later on she led the Asgardians in the battle against Thanos. Thor then appointed her as the new leader and king of Asgard. To achieve her look from Thor: Ragnarok, style your hair into a half updo top knot. Maude Lebowski from The Big Lebowski
In the Coen Brothers’ film The Big Lebowski, Maude Lebowski (played by Julianne Moore) is a provocative avant-garde artist and the daughter of Jeffrey Lebowski. She is highly critical of her father’s relationship with Bunny, and is the person responsible for the Dude losing his rug. During their initial real life interaction, Maude is seen wearing a long olive green robe, and later, she dons a gold Viking valkyrie costume in one of the Dude’s dreams. When crafting your Maude costume, you will need to decide whether the silhouette or the color of her robe are more important to you, as it can be very difficult to find one that does both. Adding additional props and touches to a fabricated Maude Viking costume can help bring your costume to the next level.
