Severen from Near Dark
Severen (played by Bill Paxton) is a manic member of the roaming vampire family in Kathryn Bigelow’s film Near Dark. Severen is often at odds with the recently-turned Caleb. Severen’s costuming includes a leather jacket covered in trophy pins from various police departments, a red flannel, and plenty of fake blood. The most important part of this costume, however, is the attitude, so make sure to have as much fun as Paxton did playing this slightly-unhinged blood sucker.

Dracula from Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992)
Dracula is the main antagonist in Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Filmed in 1992, the movie features a star studded cast: Keanu Reeves as Jonathan Harker, Winona Ryder as Mina Harker, Anthony Hopkins as Professor Van Helsing, and Gary Oldman as Dracula himself. As the story always goes, Dracula is the enigmatic owner of a castle in Transylvania, who is really a vampire. He invites Jonathan to arrange his real estate acquisitions in London. Despite the mention of the author in the movie title, director and producer Francis Ford Coppola doesn’t stick exactly to the book. For instance, he gives backstory to Dracula, and makes Mina a reincarnation of his wife.

They moved to Staten Island and now live with Colin the energy vampire, as well as Nandor and his familiar Guillermo. Flandre Scarlet from Touhou Project
In the sixth entry into the Touhou Project game series, Flandre Scarlet is the younger daughter of Remilia Scarlet. Considered by her sister to be dangerously unstable, Flandre has resided in the basement of the Scarlet Devil Mansion for nearly 500 years. Flandre’s most distinctive feature are her multicolor crystal wings, which can be expensive as a prop, but will truly complete the costume. If you have some DIY crafting skills, you may be able to create your own with thick craft wire and rainbow colored crystal pendants.
Petyr from What We Do in the Shadows
Petyr (Ben Fransham) is a main character in What We Do in the Shadows, a horror mockumentary about the lives of four vampires. According to Viago, he is 8000 years old. He resembles Nosferatu, making him the most terrifying out of the group. He sleeps downstairs in a stone coffin, and he hates to be disturbed. He turned Deacon into a vampire, and in the movie, he turns Nick into a vampire. Petyr prefers remains silent, but he is definitely judging you. Use black eyeshadow around your eyes and on your cheeks for the perfect gaunt look. For added detail, you can use a darker gray or blue to make the veins on his head.
Deacon from What We Do in the Shadows
Deacon Bruke is a main character in What We Do in the Shadows, a horror mockumentary about the lives of four vampires. As the youngest of the group, Deacon is rebellious and cares about being cool. His interests include erotic dancing and knitting. One of his iconic moments is his bat fight with Nick. He is played by Jonathan Brugh. Vladislav a main character in What We Do in the Shadows, a horror mockumentary about the lives of four vampires. Known as Vladislav the Poker, he was once a tyrant with incredible powers. Vladislav can turn into a cat, but he never gets the face right. He enjoys chaos and taking selfies. Jemaine Clement plays this role, and wrote and directed the movie alongside Takia Waititi, who plays Viago. This is his outfit from the party fight scene, when the other vampires try to eat their human friend, Stu. To make the jacket pop, use silver puff paint to draw the design along the sides.
Carmilla from Castlevania
Carmilla (played by Jaime Murray in the Castlevania animated series) is the Vampiress Queen of Styria. She was a former general of lord Dracula’s army but by all accounts has become a traitor. She tricked the devil forgemaster Hector into joining her and then held him as her prisoner. She now plots to usurp control over the other vampires and create an army that will force humankind into fear and submission. Carmilla notably has a color scheme of red and gold with long white hair. I recommend using the white mascara in both your eyelashes and eyebrows to complete the vampiric look.
