Vicky the Viking

In GLOW, Viking the Viking (Marianna Palka) is the pro wrestling persona of Reggie Walsh, an Olympic wrestling medalist. She’s originally given the star role of Liberty Belle, but loses it to Debbie due to her lack of personality.

Norman from Mighty Max

In Mighty Max, Norman is Max’s Viking bodyguard, who after failing to prevent his father’s defeat, vowed to become the greatest warrior that ever lived. After a lifetime of battle, Norman was appointed by Virgil to his current role. He earned his immortality by defeating the Conqueror, an undefeated champion, and swore to defend the Mighty One with his life if necessary. As the Mighty One’s bodyguard, Norman is usually serious; but unlike Virgil, seems to enjoy Max’s carefree ways. Norman’s exploits through the ages were the basis of numerous legends, including Thor, Hercules, Samson, Lancelot, and Little John, presumably among others.

Ragnar Lothbrok

In Vikings, Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) starts as a farmer whose ambitions lead him to join raids in England. Through his successes he soon becomes one the most feared Norse raiders of Europe. Of course, Ragnar’s costume wouldn’t be complete without his trademark hairstyle.

Hiccup

In How to Train Your Dragon, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III (voiced by Jay Baruchel) is a clever boy who aspires to be a Viking warrior. Unfortunately, he is skinny and has a rebellious streak, which makes him a social outcast whose best friend is Toothless, a Night Fury dragon.

Lagertha

In Vikings, Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) is wife to Ragnar Lothbrok and mother to Bjorn. But she is not defined by the men around her — as a shieldmaiden, she will make a name for herself through her courage and cunning.
