Carbon Costume Dr. Melissa King from The Pitt Costume
Dr. Melissa "Mel" King (played by Taylor Dearden) is a second year resident who joins the emergency department also known as The Pitt at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center. Mel did a previous rotation at a VA hospital and is the primary caregiver for her sister, Becca, who is autistic. She starts in the Pitt the same day as Dr. Trinity Santos, Dr. Dennis Whitaker, and Dr. Victoria Javadi. Mel is a compassionate doctor with a knack for connecting with her patients. She wears black scrub pants, a heather purple t-shirt, a black zip up, and Nike sneakers.
