In the game Dead by Daylight, Adam Francis is a resourceful teacher who was transported to the realm of the Entity when he attempted to shield a girl from harm with his own body during a train derailment.  Adam hails from Kingston, Jamaica, where he was raised by his uncle after his father's death.  He worked hard and used his intelligence to gain a position teaching overseas in Japan.  Now he uses that intelligence to evade the many killers of the game.
