Bill from The Last of Us (HBO)
Bill (played by Nick Offerman) is a survivalist in the apocalyptic series The Last of Us on HBO. Bill evades the military when they come to round up survivors and outfits his house and neighborhood to be optimally secure. When Frank lands himself in one of his traps, Bill’s solitude is brought to an end, and the two fall in love and share a life together for many years. Bill’s look varies throughout the episode because it spans so many years. When he first meets Frank, he’s wearing a grey sweatshirt and jeans, is outfitted with plenty of weaponry, and has long brown hair and a full beard. As he ages, his hair goes grey and he wears it a little shorter, but he never quite ditches his lumberjack-inspired fashion choices, opting for sturdy clothes and plenty of plaid. When he and Frank marry, he wears a tweed blazer.
Recep İvedik
Recep İvedik (played by Şahan Gökbakar) is the titular character of the 2008 Turkish comedy film and its many sequels. At the beginning of the series, Recep takes up residence in a luxury hotel after finding the owner’s wallet and attempts to win back his childhood love. Recep’s most prominent feature is his dark unibrow, so don’t skip out on that aspect of your costume. You might not be able to find an exact match for his brightly-colored shirt, but any bold orange striped button-down can work.
Custard from The Save-Ums!
Custard (voiced by Jordan Francis) is a main character in the Canadian cartoon series The Save-Ums! Custard is four years old and has a very active imagination. To recreate this cartoon character’s look, you’ll primarily require a red facemask and purple hooded bodysuit. You can add some additional details if you’re up for it, including purple cat ears and the design on his belly. To do so, you can cut and glue felt pieces in place and then use purple fabric paint to add the exclamation point.
Buster from Brawl Stars
Buster is a Chromatic Brawler like Colette. Appearing in Season 15 of Brawl Stars, Buster is a fast brawler with high health stats. To recreate his look from the game, you’ll need blue boots, jeans, and a black t-shirt with a strip across the chest. Top the clothing off with a green cargo vest. Complete the costume with a bullet wig, reflective sunglasses, and a pink headband.
Wolf from Bullet Train
Wolf (played by Bad Bunny) is the doomed groom aboard the Bullet Train. After his wife and wedding guests are murdered by The Hornet on the day of his nuptials, Wolf tracks the mysterious assassin who kills with snake venom to the train. When he runs into Ladybug, who spilled wine on him at the wedding, Wolf decides to take a little extra revenge, but it doesn’t turn out quite as he hoped. Wolf wears a few different outfits throughout the film, incorporating accessories from the people he kills along the way, but his wedding look includes a white embroidered suit, red boutonniere, and wolf bolo tie. He also wears a square belt buckle that says “Mexico,” but any fancy buckle will do in its stead.
M3gan
M3gan (voiced by Jenna Davis) is the titular life-like doll at the heart of horror film M3GAN. Created by robotics engineer Gemma as a companion for a young girl named Cady, M3gan soon begins to take on a terrifying life of her own. To recreate M3gan’s look, you’ll need to embrace the deceptively innocent children’s doll appearance with white tights, black mary janes shoes, and a collared dress. If you want to take the toy-like aesthetic a step further, try using a doll makeup tutorial to help capture M3gan’s wide-eyed appearance.
Tangerine from Bullet Train
Tangerine (played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson) is Lemon‘s brother and partner in the action comedy Bullet Train. Known as The Twins, Lemon and Tangerine are a deadly duo tasked with retrieving The White Death‘s son from a hostage situation and returning with the silver briefcase filled with ransom money. Things get out of hand, however, when the case goes missing and The Twins try to hunt down the person responsible to save their own limbs. Tangerine wears a blue pinstriped three-piece suit and plenty of gold jewelry, including a St. Christopher medal which he bestows on Lemon later in the film. His vintage Rolex is a bit steep in price, but a vintage-inspired rectangular-faced watch will do the trick. If you aren’t prepared to grow out a ‘stache of your own, a little spirit gum and the right fake one will do the trick.
Joel from The Last of Us (HBO)
Joel Miller (played by Pedro Pascal) is one of the main characters in HBO’s video game adaptation The Last of Us. Joel is a smuggler working out of the Boston Quarantine Zone twenty years into the pandemic that resulted in the death of his daughter Sarah. Soon, he is tasked with escorting Ellie Williams out of the QZ. Joel’s clothing is rugged and durable. He wears more than one outfit, but you can’t go wrong with a flannel shirt and jeans, maybe layered under a brown coat. Most importantly, Joel always wears his green banded wristwatch, even though it no longer works, because having it fixed was his daughter’s last gift to him before she died.
Lemon from Bullet Train
Lemon (played by Brian Tyree Henry) is an important supporting character in the action comedy Bullet Train. One half of the well-known assassin duo The Twins, Lemon is a little obsessed with Thomas the Tank Engine, and less than thrilled with the code names his partner Tangerine chooses for them. Despite this disagreement, the affection between The Twins is obvious even as they shoot their way through baddies to save The White Death‘s son and battle it out with Ladybug for the all-important silver briefcase. Lemon wears dark jeans and a denim jacket at the start of the film, as well as an orange tie and white dress shirt. You can top off the look with gold hoops and a rectangular smartwatch, and don’t forget to hydrate with a nice, refreshing bottle of Fiji water.
Ladybug from Bullet Train
Ladybug (played by Brad Pitt) is the protagonist of the action comedy Bullet Train. An assassin deep in therapy, Ladybug is sent to fetch a silver case belonging to The White Death from the titular train, only for things to go wildly off the rails. Ladybug must fight a number of others including Lemon, Tangerine, and The Hornet, in pursuit of his quarry. Ladybug has shaggy blonde hair and boards the train with a beige bucket hat and dark-framed glasses. His outfit also includes charcoal pants, a green jacket, white tee, and white sneakers. The Breitling timepiece Ladybug wears in the movie can set you back a pretty penny, so opt for a more budget-friendly pilot watch instead to complete the look.
