Garnet from Steven Universe Future
Voiced by Estelle, Garnet has been a Steven Universe staple from the show’s beginning. Now that Steven is grown in the Steven Universe series, she is still an important part of his life and the series at large.
It makes sense that cosplaying such a key character would take a little more DIY than most. In this case, getting Garnet’s specific look requires some fabric paint, a white blouse, and acrylic paint to add details to the shoes. The top requires a light pink, a bubblegum pink, a hot pink, and a bright purple for the upper portion and the sleeves. Dark blue and a darker purple are needed for the bottom of the shirt.
Dark blue pants and shoes knock out most of the rest of her outfit while dark pink acrylic paint adds the detail to the toe of the shoes. After that all you need is a black wig and a pair of Garnet glasses.
Warrior Fiona from Shrek Forever After
Fiona is a character in the Shrek movies. In the first movie, Fiona was introduced as a beautiful princess placed under a curse that transforms her into an ogre at night. However, in Shrek Forever After, she is an empowered warrior in an alternate timeline where she never meets the anti-social ogre. She leads an ogre army to take down Rumpel and the Dragon.
Jinx from Arcane

Jinx’s outfit in Arcane and her featured Fortnite skin is slightly different from her bikini top and fishnet stockings from League of Legends.
Lord Bravery from Freakazoid
In Freakazoid, Lord Bravery (real name Nigel Skunkthorpe) is a British superhero loosely based on comedian John Cleese. Roddy’s penthouse wardrobe consists of doll clothes. At the start of his journey, he’s wearing a fancy tuxedo, though he eventually loses the jacket and bow tie. To apply a rodent nose prosthetic, you’ll need spirit gum or liquid latex, but don’t forget to purchase remover as well to make the process of taking it off more comfortable.
Gargamel from The Smurfs
Gargamel is a wizard and the main antagonist of The Smurfs television program, comic books, and associated films. Gargamel created Smurfette, who was later brought to life by Papa Smurf, but has sworn to eliminate the Smurfs. He also has an orange cat named Azazel who helps him antagonize the Smurfs. Gargamel is a balding man with dark hair and bushy eyebrows. He wears a black robe with green patches on the elbows and a purple patch on the abdomen. If you want to go the extra mile and add these embellishments to a black monk’s robe, you can use colored felt squares cut to size and either sewn or glued in place.
Julieta Madrigal from Encanto
Julieta Madrigal (voiced by Angie Cepeda) is the daughter of Alma and Pedro and the sister to magical siblings Bruno and Pepa in the Disney animated film Encanto. Julieta’s clothes come in soft shades of teal and blue, with a blouse, skirt, and apron embroidered with a mortar and pestle as well as herbs, to symbolize her magical power. When accessorizing your costume, don’t be afraid to take whatever fresh herbs or flowers you may have on hand and add them to your pockets.

Dollar Bill from Watchmen
Dollar Bill, real name William Brady, was a member of the Minutemen, the first team of superheroes in the Watchmen universe. A corporate superhero sponsored by a bank, William was an exceptional athlete, but his life was cut tragically short when his cape got caught in a revolving door when he tried to stop a bank robbery and he was shot at point-blank range. Dollar Bill’s costume consists of red, white, and blue pieces. The blue unitard can be layered underneath red shorts, gloves, and socks, and then paired with a red cape. To get his iconic dollar sign insignia, use a little white fabric paint on the blue suit. Then, you can glue or sew white stars onto the bodysuit and cape.
