Dr. Pamela Isley

In 1997 when Batman & Robin was released, the critics bashed the hell out of it. It is one of the most disappointing films in history by statistics. And personally, one of the only things I adore about the movie in general is Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy (knowing how much I looked up to the character in general during my childhood).

Aside from Poison Ivy’s main costume, I decided to take a turn towards her laboratory uniform as Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley since I find it sexier, and less cheesy. It’s one tutorial that’s easy to start, and perfect for a last minute idea. You could literally go to Wal-Mart and buy these items for less than $20 (then proceed to distress the clothing if I may so add). The items needed are: a tank top, a beige skirt, and some red-hot long hair. If you want it authentically made, vines and chemistry instruments would really pull the whole look together.

In the direct-to-video movie Batman: Assault on Arkham, Joker plants a dirty bomb that Batman must find, all the while dealing with a superteam of villains called the Suicide Squad, which includes Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and more.

Bombshell Batwoman

In DC Bombshells, Batwoman (real name Kate Kane) is a vigilante who earned her name by fighting crime with a bat and her baseball uniform. Her costume is inspired by the women’s baseball uniforms in the 1940’s. For authenticity, use the iron-on patch and numbers to recreate her team logo and number, 52. She also has “batwoman” written on her bat, which can be easily added to the prop bat.

Harleen Quinzel

Harleen Quinzel

Harley Quinn was introduced as Harleen Quinzel, a psychiatrist in 1992’s Batman: The Animated Series. Since 1999, she has become a DC favorite. If you’re tired of the usual Harley cosplay tutorials such as the jester suit, Arkham series, or the Suicide Squad film, look no further.

Aside from most of the screen time Harley spent in the two ’90s Batman series’ parading around in her jester suit, she was known to dress quite feminine and formal. One of the looks aside from the usual was her outfit worn while shopping out on the town or when out with Ivy.

To pull off the simple look, you’ll need: a white collared blouse or button down shirt (tied into a sexy knot), bright red jean shorts with a simple black belt, white lace-up go-go rollerblade boots, and hair pulled into high pigtails. If you want to add accessories, get a white leather purse and some signature red lipstick.

Misa Amane

Misa Amane

Misa Amane is the female love interest for protagonist Light Yagami in the anime and manga series, Death Note. Represented in the series as a beautiful, innocent form of comic relief to the megalomaniac that is Light, her fashion style is a mixture of gothic and Lolita: differentiating between her feminine youthful attitude and dark but deadly willpower.

The most known outfit of hers is her signature black clothes her character was wearing when introducing herself to Light. It’s a fairly simple look, one that just screams goth. The pieces needed are a leather black corset (with straps/bra underneath), a plain black choker, a silver cross necklace, a black leather or vinyl skirt, black floral lace stockings and sleeves, red nail polish, blonde hair pulled into thin grungy pigtails with front strands and bangs, and lastly a pair of black combat boots (just a bit high above the ankle).

Bombshell Vixen

DC Bombshells is an alternate reality where female superheroes guard the homefront during WWII. In this reality, Vixen is reimagined as a jazzy lounge singer.
