Comics

Zatanna

In the DC Comics, Zatanna is a superhero who uses magic as her superpower, at times working for the Justice League of America. Daughter of the legendary Zatara, she summons spells by speaking words and sentences backwards.

Doctor Strange

After a car accident ends Doctor Stephen Strange’s (Benedict Cumberbatch) career as a neurosurgeon, he embarks on a journey of healing in the Far East. There he encounters the Ancient One, who teaches him the mystical arts, with some help from the Cloak of Levitation and Eye of Agamotto.

Luke Cage

Luke Cage (Mike Colter) is a superhuman who fights street crime in Harlem, New York City like Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Once a convict named Carl Lucas, he gained superhuman strength and unbreakable skin in a sabotaged experiment conducted in prison inmates. Add bullet holes for the complete look.

Arataka Reigen

Arataka Reigen is Mob Kageyama’s mentor and boss from the anime/manga Mob Psycho 100 created by One Punch Man creator ONE. He is the self-proclaimed “Greatest Psychic of the 21st Century” as well as owner and operator of the Spirits and Such Consultation Office. Though not a real Psychic, he is a master at conning others and faking a business. Despite his dishonesty, Reigen is a kind hearted and well meaning mentor to Mob, and he gives Mob guidelines to live life as a normal kid despite having immense power. He is hardly ever seen without his trusty Mob by his side, so it’s wise to make this a partner cosplay.

Kyoya Hibari

In Katekyō Hitman Reborn!, Kyoya Hibari is the leader of the Namimori Middle Disciplinary Committee, prefects who are in fact a group of delinquents. Hibari himself is a violent delinquent with little care for others who uses his status to harass other students.

Gideon Graves

In Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Gideon Gordon Graves (Jason Schwartzman) is Ramona Flower’s seventh evil boyfriend, and the founder of League of Ramona’s Evil Ex-Boyfriends. He’s also a music mogul who hosts the Sex Bob-ombs in a tournament, causing a great deal of conflict for Scott Pilgrim.

The Invisible Man

The Invisible Man is the name given to the protagonists of H.G. Wells’s sci-fi novel of the same name and the classic Universal Studios horror movie franchise that spawned from it. Besides that, similar characters have appeared in numerous other media, such as the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen comics and a stage play. Since there have been many people to take up the mantle, designs vary. Feel free to mix and match different articles of clothing. Personally, I like to use Solar Shields when I dress as him as opposed to Victorian sunglasses, because they look like goggles worn in more contemporary depictions, have side lenses like the 19th century sunglasses worn in the classic films, and are large enough to cover my eyeglasses.

The Creeper

In the DC Universe, the Creeper (real name Jack Ryder) is a superhero with superhuman strength, speed, and healing. Befitting his name, he is like a creepy version of Superman, with the red cape and speedos but not much else covering him.

Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama

Mob is the protagonist of the MOB PSYCHO 100 webcomic and anime series. He is an 8th grader with strong psychic abilities. He hides his emotions to keep his powers in check, and he rarely uses them. He works alongside Reigen, professional con artist and self proclaimed psychic expert. Together the two serve as the cheapest but strangely most efficient exorcism team in Japan. When Mob’s percentage reaches 100, he ‘explodes’, resulting in spiky hair and uncontrollable anger. Spiked wig optional for this version of Mob.

Mob Psycho 100 is from the same creator as One-Punch Man which means it can make for a cool duo cosplay.

Robert E.O. Speedwagon

Robert Edward O. Speedwagon is one of the major allies in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 1: Phantom Blood and Part 2: Battle Tendency. He starts the series as a street urchin but quickly becomes Jonathan Joestar’s closest friend. Eventually he forms the Speedwagon Foundation, which assists the Joestar family even after his death from Part 2 to Part 6. Initially a comic relief character, he grows into arguably the most loyal and important side character in the whole franchise. He even plays a key role in the video game spin off JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven and is playable in it. Because of all this, he is universally beloved in the fandom and he makes for an easy beginner JoJo cosplay. Could go nicely with a Young Jonathan Joestar cosplay

For hats you can choose his default bowler hat (with 3 red feathers on the left side) from the first half of Part 1 or the Zeppeli hat from the second half. To make Zeppeli hat, combine checker fabric with stovepipe hat.
Sledge hammer optional.
