David King from Dead by Daylight
A former rich kid, rugby player, underground fighter, and debt collector, David King now uses his tolerance for pain and willingness to fight for others to survive killers in Dead by Daylight. Born as the only son of a wealthy family, David squandered much of his potential because of his combative nature. When he mysteriously disappeared, no one who knew him was all that surprised, but they never could have guessed that he was now fighting for his life against killers looking to sacrifice him to the Entity.
Feng Min from Dead by Daylight
Feng Min is a professional gamer from Dead by Daylight. After burning out and falling into a string of substance abuse issues (accompanied by parents who never approved of her career), she found herself in the Realm of the Entity and is now focused on winning, no matter the cost. Finding an exact match for Feng’s outfit would be almost impossible, but by choosing a printed athletic polo and using some matching fabric paint on the white contrast trim of a pair of black shorts, you can evoke the same feel. If you’re not up for painting, a plain pair of black bike shorts would also suffice.
The Legion (Frank and Julie) from Dead by Daylight
In the game Dead by Daylight, the Legion is a killer that consists of four teenagers, Frank, Julie, Susie, and Joey. Frank Morrison was a promising high school athlete, but he was kicked out of school after he attacked a referee at a game. After bouncing around several foster homes, Frank ended up in the small town of Ormond where he met Julie Kostenko who saw him as her ticket out of her hometown. Frank and Julie also hung out with Susie and Joey, and the foursome began vandalizing and robbing as a hobby before they committed a murder during a break in, which sealed to their fate as killers for the Entity. Frank and Julie’s costumes are very similar, so it could be fun to use these two as a basis for a couple’s costume or as part of a larger group of four.
Rosemary “Rose” Winters from Resident Evil Village
Rosemary “Rose” Winters (voiced in English by Jeannie Tirado) is an American superhuman and a character in the Resident Evil Village video game. The daughter of Ethan and Mia Winters, Rose’s body is comprised completely of Mold, a fungal superorganism capable of replicating human DNA. Rose wears sturdy sneakers, a pair of distressed jeans, and her late father’s jacket. She also carries a book called Village of Shadows that her parents used to read to her.
The Hag from Dead by Daylight
As a young girl, Lisa Sherwood was kidnapped by a village of cannibals. After being chained to a wall and slowly eaten for weeks, she broke free and ate her former captors alive. As the Hag, she sacrifices survivors to the Entity in the game Dead by Daylight, though she also occasionally eats them. The Hag’s costume is simple, but some patience will be required in order to apply the body paint necessary to achieve the finished look.
Chuck Greene from Dead Rising 2
Chuck Greene (voiced by Peter Flemming) is a former motocross champion, a widower, and a father that will do whatever it takes to protect his daughter. Sometimes that involves fighting off the undead. Sometimes it involves things a little crazier. Chuck has the skills to handle it, though. And for as long as he can, he’s going to keep his daughter safe.
Chuck Greene is a great cosplay for those who want to be comfortable. He wears black boots, blue jeans, and a motocross jacket in yellow and black. His weapon of choice is the Paddlesaw (when he can’t ride a Slicecycle) but those aren’t exactly easy to make. A kayak paddle is a good start to one, though!
Milkman Karlson
In the eponymous video game created by YouTuber Dani, Milkman Karlson must make his way to the store to buy milk. However, this is no ordinary milk run, with enemies appearing in his path to slow him down. Milkman Karlson must use his weapons to dispatch of these enemies and he can earn money by not only killing his enemies, but by doing “epic” tricks and flips. To dress as Milkman Karlson, you’ll need a black shirt, yellow pants, and blue overshirt. For a little extra pizzazz, you can also opt for a pair of googly eye glasses and bright green socks to pull it all together.
Belle from Brawl Stars
What she lacks in health stats, she makes up for in power. And as leader of the Goldarm gang, Belle knows power.
Her confidence shows in the regal colors she uses in her costume. Purple gloves and a purple scarf draped as a cape complement her purple vest and green pants. Black boots, a black belt, and yellow shirt round out her outfit while black glasses and a white wig finish off the whole costume.
Nick Ramos from Dead Rising 3
With no memory of his past and few clues to go on, Nick (voiced by Andrew Lawrence) is one of the youngest and the most mysterious protagonists in the Dead Rising series. He also makes for a great cosplay with the exception of his weapon, the sledge saw, which takes a build all its own to replicate.
Sledge saw aside, a Nick Ramos cosplay is great for people who want something with reusable pieces. A set of coveralls with the sleeves torn off, workboots, and a patch is all you really need for the clothing. A tattoo pen lets you copy the “12” tattoo on his neck, finishing off the whole look.
Julian Devorak from The Arcana: A Mystic Romance – Love Story
Julian Devorak is a fugitive doctor and one of the six available love interests in the mobile game The Arcana: A Mystic Romance – Love Story. Julian, also known as Ilya, is both charismatic and theatrical, with a flair for drama. His patron arcana is The Hanged Man, which gave Julian the power to heal in exchange for unwanted memories. Julian is tall and gangly, with messy auburn hair and an eye patch that covers the damaged sclera of his right eye, he also often wears a red-lined trench coat draped casually over his shoulders. Though this exact item can be difficult to find, a more common red-lined cape or cloak can help achieve a similar look.
