Nicole Kidman’s AMC ad has quickly become an internet sensation and meme, for what reason? Simply because we love her. There have been incredible re-creations of her costume from the ad going viral on platforms like Tik Tok from conventions and even just a trip to the movies. This would be a hilarious costume for any movie-lover.
To create this costume, take a gray two-piece suit, preferably with the blazer being double breasted and add rhinestoned stripes or trim in vertical stripes on both the pants and the blazer if you’re a crafty person. If you have similar hair, wear a simple updo or you can style a wig the same way. Add a pair of heels and even a tin of popcorn to complete the look.
Pooh from Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey
After Winnie-the-Pooh entered the public domain on January 1, 2022, Rhys Frake-Waterfield set out to write, produce, and direct a gory horror film based on the property. In Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, an adult Christopher Robin returns to Hundred Acre Wood after a 5 year absence. He finds the land desolate and the creatures starving and feral. Pooh and Piglet ambush Christopher and his wife, dragging them into the woods.

With Disney’s copyright on the classic cartoon Steamboat Willie expiring, creators wasted no time taking advantage. On the very day the Mickey Mouse short entered the public domain – January 1, 2024 – a trailer for a horror slasher called Mickey’s Mouse Trap dropped, continuing the tradition of the previous year’s Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey. In the film, a killer masked as Mickey Mouse (Simon Phillips) stalks victims at a late-night birthday party in an amusement park. To take your costume from mascot to monster, cut out or black out the eye holes of your rubber Mickey mask.
Boris the Teeth Guy from Goanimate
Boris the Teeth Guy is one of the antagonists of Goanimate. Boris is an extremely loud and angry character who yells constantly. Boris a “teeth person,” and is red with a large mouth. His clothes consist of red shoes, blue pants, and a green hoodie. You can make the drawstrings of the hoodie red with fabric paint. You’ll also need red face paint for your face and red gloves.
Jeffy from SML
In the YouTube series SML (formerly SuperMarioLogan), Jeffy Jeffy is the adoptive son of Rose and Marvin, who he spends his days annoying. He wears a blue helmet and has a shirt with his name written on it by his mom… so he won’t forget his name. To fully commit to this costume you’ll want to keep a pencil (the rubber variety is recommended for safety) shoved up your nose, and diapers worn outside your pants. The better to keep your diaper clean.

Nina the Killer is the titular serial killer character at the heart of a CreepyPasta story. Originally a fan of Jeff the Killer, Nina Hopkins turns down her own twisted path after a bad day at school. Nina is a high school girl with long dark hair that she wears in a ponytail with a red bow and a single streak of purple. Her outfit includes a hoodie, a black pleated skirt, and black and red striped thigh-high socks. Perhaps the most striking aspect of Nina’s appearance is her Chelsea Smile, which you can achieve with a little liquid latex, fake blood, and some patience.
Ethan Mars from Heavy Rain
Ethan Mars (voiced by Pascal Langdale) is one of four playable characters in the action-adventure game Heavy Rain. After another painful loss, Ethan’s son is kidnapped by the Origami Killer and he must do everything he can to save him. Ethan became a meme when the “Press X to Shaun” glitch was discovered. Ethan’s primary outfit throughout the game includes a brown jacket, blue jeans, and dark work boots.
